"Get To The Pointe" is a ground level, 1,200 square foot end unit lakefront condo that affords ample indoor and outdoor living space. Enjoy an evening beverage on the screened-in porch, or relax in the morning with a cup of coffee on the private patio. Those with mobility concerns can take advantage of the elevator for easy access from the parking lot. For fun in the sun amenities, the upper “sun deck” and lower floating deck offer wonderful spots to soak up the sunshine, cool off in the lake with a swim, drop in a line for some of Virginia’s finest freshwater fishing (large and smallmouth bass, crappie, catfish, perch, and sunfish), or launch a canoe or paddleboard to explore a nearby cove. Rent a boat and spend the day skiing, tubing, or fishing [No overnight docking, but docking/trailer storage facilities are located nearby]. Dining and other activities are just a short car ride (or an even shorter jaunt in a boat) away. Smith Mountain Lake State Park is on the other side of the channel and Smith Mountain Lake Community Park is less than 5 miles away. Both have wonderful beaches, hiking, and more! Smith Mountain Lake (aka Jewel of the Blue Ridge) is one of the largest, cleanest freshwater lakes east of the Mississippi. The kitchen: Fully stocked with everything you’ll need to cook (utensils, oven, stove, microwave/air fryer, toaster, blender, coffee makers). The counter seating provides guests the opportunity to chat over breakfast, or enjoy the expansive lake and mountain views, right from the dining room table.

The living room: Roomy, yet cozy with plenty of seating options to relax after a day on the lake. Enjoy the flat screen TV with cable channels and streaming apps, or cuddle up to the crackle of a real fire on a brisk, cool lake day. The open plan allows guests to socialize while taking in the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. During the high season, you’ll enjoy watching all of the boat action on the main channel.

Bedroom 1: Warm and inviting, this bedroom offers a king-sized bed with its own ensuite bathroom. Bed and bath linens are provided (bring your own beach towels), as well as multiple pillow options to please discerning guests.

Bedroom 2: The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed with easy access to the second full bathroom in the hallway. Both bedrooms have closets, drawers, and privacy blinds, as well as USB charging ports for phones and other devices, and televisions for evening entertainment. The bedrooms are perfect for recharging after a hike or a day of water skiing.

Kids bunks: A unique feature of this condo is the hidden hallway bunk beds. Kids love this space, and adults enjoy the extra sleeping option. Children younger than 3 don't count toward the occupancy limit, so the unit will accommodate families with children.

Interaction with guests: Self check-in available after 3 p.m. Guests will be given a unique access code to enter on the keypad, so no need to keep up with keys during your stay. Owners are available via phone, text, or email.

Neighborhood: This property is located within the prestigious Waterfront Country Club on the south side of Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County, Virginia. The friendly community offers lots of great walking/biking and a private boat launch. Westlake, home to shopping, a grocery store, and restaurants is 10 minutes away. Bridgewater Marina is another spot popular among vacationers, with mini golf, ice cream, an arcade, restaurants, and boat rentals. The area’s best kept secret is Homestead Creamery, our family’s favorite stop for ice cream and the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Don’t miss it! Other fun family destinations include the Smith Mountain Lake Alpaca Farm and the Booker T. Washington National Monument.
