This townhouse has 2 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. There is a queen size bedroom on the main floor along with a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) and the king bed is upstairs in the open loft sleeping area along with a full size bed for additional sleeping. There is a 32" flat screen TV with a Roku device for streaming your favorite apps. The 2nd bathroom has a walk-in shower and is on the upper level with the king size bed. There is a stacked washer and dryer on the main floor as well.
The living room has a couch and a comfy chair with ottoman. The TV in the living room is a 50" Roku TV with streaming apps and also has Direct TV with local channels. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace during those cold winter nights (wood not provided).
There is a sitting area in the basement with a nice flat screen TV with Roku, a half bathroom, and an arcade video game with Ms. PacMan and Galaga and a vintage Haunted House pinball machine.
The Tree House has a bright and open feeling, a comfortable living room with wood burning fireplace, and beautiful views. PLUS, there is a portable AC unit located in the loft bedroom area for those warm summer days.
Its central location in Fleetwood Falls, which is in Southern Ashe County, is a skip away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Tree House is also centrally located within 20 minutes to West Jefferson and Boone
Appalachian Ski Mountain is approx. 35 scenic minutes away.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons and a 3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October. 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday and a 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays.
Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 10:00 am.

It was wonderful! A few minor things. The sliding door is very hard to shut and there is a gap at the bottom. Most of the screens have holes in them, big enough for bugs to get in and the plumbing upstairs needs a look at. Other than that, it was great!

Check in was very easy. Manager Stacy was really nice on the phone, we're glad he told us to drive 4x4 or bring tire chains as snow storm hit during our stay. Condo is on the very top of the hill, be prepared to drive on narrow and steep roads (as you are in the mountains). The view is gorgeous. Condo has a deck on main floor and screened-in porch on lower level. Main floor has a bedroom, full bathroom/tub, kitchen and living room with with fireplace (bring your own firewood) and new 50" TV. Upper level/loft has a tv, 2 beds and full bathroom/shower. Lower level/game room has a TV, and 2 nice leather recliners, arcade games and a bathroom. Some furniture ( kitchen cabinets, full bathrooms, dinning room table) are outdated but this is not our personal house, we needed a place to stay that was reasonable. Unit was warm with 15 degrees outside. We had a blast. Kids didn't want to leave. Place is not fancy but comfy.. Before you travel print out instructions management email you on how to get to the unit as cell signal might go out. Wifi was good. As I said very happy with our stay
