About this house rental
Beautifully renovated, Ttich Manor Retreat is the perfect hideaway home for families and groups of friends looking for a picturesque stay away. The Grade II listed historic manor house is tucked away in a quiet, tranquil area with uninterrupted views and an acre of garden to explore.
The period property believed to date from the 12th Century has been recently modernized and refurbished while retaining its grand period features. Sleep up to 17 guests across four floors, with games room/arcade machine, music system, outdoor hot tub and private sauna for guest use.
Transport back in time when you enter the sweeping driveway and are met by the eye-catching period property. Enter via the double doors onto the ground floor where you will find a traditional yet stylish dining room, with full height windows to allow light to cascade into this wonderful room. An expansive, period style lounge with U-shape sofas, smart TV, and Wi-Fi. Plus, large kitchen with all modern comforts including pod coffee machine, air fryer, three ovens, large fridge/freezer and waffle maker. With additional breakfast room, cloakroom, and utility.
The lower ground floor showcases elements of the old stone castle that once stood here, and offers a fantastic, entertaining, and spacious area for friends and families. With games room, Sony music system, private sauna and additional lounge located on this level.
Behind the main house is, what was once, a formal garden again surrounded by mature trees and flora. From the main garden you are lead through an opening to a further expanse of garden from where you can enjoy views over local farmland. Lots of countryside walks along nearby rivers and lakes are available from your doorstep.
The traditional building provides a spacious retreat with all modern comforts which is suited to groups of families or friends looking for a peaceful getaway. One dog is permitted at an additional charge, please request at time of booking. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate stag/hen parties and large events at this home. An EV charger point is available at this property.

The Manor house was well kept and had everything needed
The layout and higgledy-piggledy nature of the house made it challenging to have large meals together with the kitchen at the furthest point from the dining room and lots of small staircases and elevations made it challenging for the elderly guests in our party.
This was manageable but should be made much clearer with either a layout or clearer pictures on the brochure

We had a big family weekend at Ttich Manor a few weekends ago and were totally blown away by the house. The property caters for large parties perfectly. We loved it so much we've already booked again for next year!
Some comfy outdoor furniture would be brilliant!

The house was warm and very comfortable with lots of room for everyone , we would happily return.
Needs a Large Tray

The hosts were great and responsive. They responded to our concerns quickly. And the house was beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
