This apartment was everything we were looking for - great location, free parking, comfortable and clean and cute! My daughter and I felt safe here, and were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Mario was easy to contact, responded immediately, and was helpful and friendly when we accidentally locked ourselves out (oops!). Would definitely stay again!

The place and the location was great. Our host was very responsive when we texted him. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because someone above us was moving furniture and banging around until midnight on our first night. I talked with our host and he talked to the tenant above and we had no issues the next night. It might have been a fluke.

I don’t have anything good to say about this place. After I showed up, the key was not in the lockbox so I contacted the host to figure out what was going on. At that moment I was told that he had double booked with another platform and I was left to fend for myself on the weekend of the Chicago marathon after I’d booked this place 5 months before the trip. He refused to cancel the booking until I called vrbo support and then he said he cancelled because I, (at 33 years old) didn’t meet the minimum age requirement. The host, Mario, didn’t take any responsibility for the mistake and totally shifted all the blame to everyone but himself. Spare yourself, and find another place with accountable hosts before you end up spending 3x as much booking this place and then a hotel.

The entry to the rental was deplorable. It was run down. It stunk. The rental itself smelled of mildew. The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. The queen bed was not a queen size bed. It was a double. We left after one night . We w

This property has great amenities and perfect location for exploring Chicago. The check in process was smooth and secure and the hosts provided everything you could need. Close to grocery stores & restaurants and less than 10 min from the Blue Line. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and we could hear the upstairs residents walking around until late into the evening which may disturb lighter sleepers. Otherwise I highly recommend this rental and would utilize it again.

This was our 2nd stay at this unit! Close proximity to our son's place makes it an ideal location for us, but the great space, free parking, ease of check-in/out, & good communication with the hosts are just as important to the overall great experience. Highly recommend!

The 606 hiking/biking/running trail I would recommend and it's an easy walk/run to the trail access. Very nice grocery store across the street. Some nice restaurants in walking distance. Seemed like a safe neighborhood.

Came into the city for a concert and chose this place over a hotel for the free parking. Good choice. Slight parking issue when we arrived that was quickly resolved - owners are very responsive! Apartment was clean, very quiet at night. We felt safe. A quick 10-minute walk to the Blue Line. Enjoyed a late meal at nearby Arturo's Tacos - legit! Doesn't seem like there's a lot open on Western right there past 10pm or so, minus Arturo's and a couple of bars, so stock up on what you need early and enjoy your evening.

My husband, myself, and our 2.5 year old daughter stayed here this week. The condo was very welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated. The hosts were easy to get ahold of/communicate with via text. They checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well and to make sure we didn’t need anything, which was very nice! We had a nice visit in Chicago, minus the traffic! The only complaint we have about the stay was that there was construction being done on the building during our entire stay. They started at 8 each morning and ended around 6. The drilling, hammering, music, etc could be heard very clearly inside the residence. The main issue was coming and going from the residence. It was very dusty with debris falling when we would walk out into the ally. Our daughter was scared of all the noise and our car was covered in dust by the end of the week. The dust was thick and I imagine anyone with allergies or asthma would have had an issue, as I have neither but my chest started hurting and I developed a cough during our stay. Luckily we spent our days out and about. The parking spot was nice to have! Overall, we enjoyed the condo, the hospitality of the hosts, and the city!

We loved our stay here while in Chicago for a concert at Wrigley. The location was perfect and within walking distance of several coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. The place itself, although we didn’t spent much time there, offered all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The alley parking was a big perk too!

Spent 2 nights in Chicago on our way to Nashville. This place ended up being just 2 blocks from my son's apartment. (I had no idea how close it was when I booked it) So it was the perfect location for us. Walked to some good restaurants nearby. Was very quiet for being located on Western Avenue which is a pretty busy Chicago street! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Loved the off street parking as well!

We were visiting the city for a short overnight stay. This unit allows pets and is central to our visit location so it worked perfectly. The keys, doors, and codes were a little confusing, but the host did a fantastic job explaining everything in writing so we were able to follow along just fine. Thanks for the hospitality!

I spent maybe 5 minutes in the apartment before heading out to a concert. Upon returning later that night (several drinks in) I simply landed in the first bed (adjacent to living room) and went to sleep. The second bed seemed more comfortable for me but with all of the neon happening (in the adjacent laundry area) it was quite bright in there and I wasn't able to figure out how to make it dark in there. I did get cold during the night (I get cold easily) so I ended up back in the neon area where there was a comforter. The space was clean and comfortable. The nearest wall outlet (to the bed) didn't work so I didn't charge my phone as I slept (I tried both plug ins), but not a big deal. I don't normally even sleep with a phone near me but needed to wake up early to go back to ORD. I walked to Stay Cafe nearby (that a previous guest recommended) and liked the neighborhood. Instructions of how to obtain keys and access the unit were thorough. I'd say the apartment was a good value since it had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. I didn't take the train but apparently this space is a block or two to the L train Blue Line - providing affordable transport to O'Hare airport. Lyft to the airport was around $40+ tip each way.

This unit was very clean, contemporary and aesthetically pleasing. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was no problem at all to find free street parking for an extra vehicle. We really enjoyed Bucktown and would like to stay in the area again.
