Stoney Creek Northstar is a well-known and extremely popular condominium complex located in the center of Whistler’s North Village. Its’ location offers guests the best of both worlds with convenient access to everything in Whistler Village, while still being situated in a quiet setting that allows you unwind and relax after a day of excitement.

For access to the slopes, guests can choose between using the complimentary Village shuttle bus that runs directly in front of the property or, walking the approx. 8-10 minutes to the mountain base.

Stoney Creek Northstar #12 is a fully renovated and very well appointed property in an ideal location overlooking the pool area. After its’ complete remodeling in 2019, it is without a doubt one of the nicest condominiums in the area. This 970sq/ft. two bedroom, two bathroom property sits on two levels with the entry level containing the living areas and kitchen and the top floor housing both bedrooms. Behind the front entrance door, there is a smartly designed equipment and clothing storage area perfect for drying your winter gear after a day on the slopes. The living area features hardwood flooring throughout, a gas fireplace, large flatscreen television, a pullout sofabed and a private balcony. The kitchen is well outfitted with stainless appliances, granite countertops and everything one would need to cook meals in the property. Both the bedrooms are on the top floor, the master with King sized bed and the second with a high-quality Tri-Bunk that has a double on the bottom and single on top. This property has a maximum occupancy of 4 adults.

Guests will also appreciate the private washer/dryer, complimentary high-speed internet, free underground parking and a fantastic common pool and hot tub area.

Pros: Best location. Walkable to everything. Pool and hot tub. Cons:No screens on windows which were knee high so dangerous, thought that was weird. Not fully stocked with Tupperware, food wraps etc. dryer was glitchy and did not dry clothes properly. We hung dry most. Dirty towels were left hanging in the bathroom behind the door.

Even though it wasn’t right smack in the middle of the village I enjoyed the short walks into the village every day. The grocery store being right across the street is super convenient as I went everyday to stock up on fruits for my kids. The unit is very light and bright and the management team onsite was very helpful. My only gripe which is a deal breaker for a repeat stay for me is that the bed is way too soft for my liking and the pillows smell bad (and were yellowish) that even the 3 pillowcases they put on did not mask. If you don’t mind a soft bed and can bring your own pillows, this unit would be a great fit. It is well decorated, the washer/dryer worked well and we really appreciated the foyer for holding all our ski equipment.

The complex pool/hot tub is opposite which does get very busy and quite noisy. It should be vacated by 10pm but it seemed to be more like 10.30pm some evenings. Complex staff are extremely accommodating. Enjoyed our stay …
