About this apartment rental
Built in 1875, this fabulously renovated garden apartment features all of the modern amenities you could wish for! Located on one of Savannah's wealthiest streets, lined with sweeping, majestic oak trees, you'll be just a stones throw from Forsyth Park. Enjoy being within walking distance from all of Savannah's beautiful squares, amazing restaurants, and so much more.
Perched on the corner of Gaston and Abercorn Street, you'll find your private entrance tucked away behind a charming patio with lush greenery. Stepping inside, you'll be in awe of the finishes and furnishings selected for the space - no detail was overlooked when designing this space! The open living room gleams with natural light, and features an outstanding hand painted mural completed by a local SCAD artist. You'll have an ample amount of comfortable seating for everyone in your party to gather, whether you are enjoying a movie night in, or planning your day out on the town.
Passing through the gathering room, you'll find an impeccable galley kitchen, that has been finished with stainless steel appliances, beautiful countertops, and custom cabinetry. The stunning backsplash compliments the white crisp walls, and ties the space together! You'll find everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal, in addition to plenty of counter space.
At the back of the apartment, the primary suite awaits - fitted with a plush king size bed, beautiful green velvet headboard, and sage green walls, this serene space is the ultimate place to unwind after a long day of exploring. You'll find a massive walk-in closet right off of the primary suite, to store all of your personal belongings. Down the hall, a luxurious, spa-like bathroom can be found which is easily accessible to all members of your party. The bathroom features a gorgeous, tiled, walk-in shower, and a large custom vanity with plenty of storage.
In the morning, we recommend taking a short stroll across Forsyth Park to Collins Quarter's for a refreshing iced latte. For lunch, pop over to Bull Street Taco in the Starland District, and explore their unique twist on tacos. As you wander around town, stroll through the Squares of Savannah, enriched in history. For dinner, head north downtown, where there's none better than The Grey, a Southern fine dining experience retrofitted inside an old Greyhound Bus Station. After a day out, relax in the park and listen to the sound of the Forsyth fountain.

Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Overall, enjoyed our stay. Great location to be able to walk to park, restaurants and throughout historic district. On a residential corner and away from a constant flow of foot traffic. Clean and inside well maintained with a great layout. Huge closet so we were able to easily store all our items with a dressing space. Lovely apartment and I would stay here again. Some things to note; Outdoor furniture and "porch" area not maintained so unable to sit and enjoy. No items provided as a "welcome", which I've always experienced when booking apartments. i.e. water, wine or a drink upon arrival. If you have a late arrival, be sure to pick something up before you get to the apartment. Coffee for one morning provided but no sugar or cream for those that do not like just coffee. Unfortunately, wasn't informed that building maintenance would be going on when we arrived. Involved sidewalk being closed and equipment that had that constant beeping noise. They worked late into evening and started again at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. Not ideal but we understand maintenance is necessary. Lucky Savannah staff were great to work with during booking process and I will be renting from them in the future when visiting Savannah.

This property is cute and tucked away even though it’s on a corner! The place was very clean and stocked. The only downfall to this property is during our stay, they are renovating the building across the street and the noise of the construction and the workers taking all the parking spots next to the residence made it difficult to rest as well as park in the mornings. If the construction was not going on, I’d say this was one of my best stays. Super convenient, to all of the historic buildings.

This place was just what we needed. Clean, safe, great location. Even parking was better than expected. Construction across the street early in the mornings was loud but we are both heavy sleepers and we were out exploring while most of the noise was happening. If there were any requests we’d hive for future stay, it would be to secure the shower hot/cold handle to the wall - it was loose.
