Perched on pilings, The Baywatch Bungalow overlooks the Marsh, the Chincoteague Bay, and Captain’s Cove Marina Club in the distance. The views are nothing short of spectacular - watch Herons, Egrets, and Eagles fish for their morning meal. Relax on the Deck and listen to our Tree Frogs sing while you sip your morning coffee. There’s nowhere quite like the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
With gleaming hardwood floors and tons of natural light, The Baywatch Bungalow is warm and welcoming. Kick up your feet in the beachy Living Area - sink into the inviting sectional sofa and enjoy Satellite TV and Free WiFi. The wonderful open layout is perfect for spending time together without ever feeling crowded, and you can enjoy the views from many windows facing the water. There is a convenient Half Bath adjacent to the Living Area, as well.
The Chef in your family will find mealtime a bay breeze in the Well-Stocked Kitchen. Grab a quick bite before hitting the beach at the Breakfast Bar, or enjoy some Fresh Local Seafood in the comfort of spacious Dining Area. Not one to cook on Vacation? No worries! The Captain’s Cove Marina Club Restaurant is just around the corner - you may even want to dine poolside at the water’s edge and enjoy cocktails from the Bayfront Tiki Bar!
The Baywatch Bungalow sleeps 6 in 3 well-appointed Bedrooms. On the 1st Floor, the Master Bedroom features a comfy King Bed, Flat Screen Satellite TV, and Beachy Blues. The Private Master Bath has a Walk-in Shower. Wandering upstairs, you’ll find 2 more lovely Bedrooms, and another Full Bath.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed and lovely views, as well as Flat Screen TV. Down the Hall, Bedroom 3 has jaw-dropping Views of the Marsh and Bay, as well as a Full Bed and a Twin Bed - and of course Flat Screen TV. Also on this level are a Full Size Washer and Dryer for your convenience, and another Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo.
Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week). More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise.

We had such a lovely visit here. The property was clean and super comfortable. It had a perfect beach vibe so I felt like I was on a beach vacation even while working from “home” throughout the week. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was a bit of a concern for us. We worried it would be too far from Chincoteague but the 20-30 minute drive never really felt like that big a deal. We went to the beach several times and ate in Chincoteague almost everyday. The neighborhood is fun to explore. Our dog loved going for walks and we liked seeing all the different homes on the waterways. We had a lovely brunch at the clubhouse and enjoyed the pool. It’s a perfect spot if you don’t feel the need to be SUPER close to everything but still want a beautiful, cozy beach house within driving distance of all the tourist spots.

We had a wonderful time and this is an easy drive to nearby beaches! The house was very clean, well appointed kitchen, and comfy seating.
