About this villa rental
This beautiful Creole style house welcomes you with its 5 bedrooms, a large living room opening onto a huge terrace of 250m2 overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
The property is nestled in a vast tropical garden of 3,400m² which contains many tropical species.
You enjoy a private pool with solarium, overlooking the royal palms and the sea.
Want to lie on the sand or a part of snorkeling, Leroux beach is 100 m walk. Just before the beach you can take your bread and the huge pastries that the baker makes from Tuesday to Sunday.
The villa is completely open onto the terrace offering an incredible airy living space. The entire terrace is sheltered which will allow you to take your meals away from the sun (and some tropical showers).
In the morning you may be lucky to have some birds that will come to say hello to you (parakeet, ti'suucrier, hummingbird, lovebirds ...) and in the evening you will have a breathtaking view of the sun setting horizon...
The house is composed of 2 suites (bedroom + bathroom + WC + Dressing).
On the floor an attic room, a space child (Beds gigognes) and a big mezzanine with a space office (office equipped: Screen + Mac), dressing. A shower room + WC on the ground floor.
In rez of garden an independent flat of 80m2 with 2 rooms, room of bath, Toilet, equipped kitchen, stay and terrace gives 4 additional beds.
The furniture is mainly teak and red wood as well as the carpentry which gives a lot of charm to the place.
The Ferry area is very quiet and popular, 5 minutes from the charming village of Deshaies. The most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe await you: The pearl, Grande Anse, Tillet, Cluny, ... to name but a few. This part of Guadeloupe is away from mass tourism and remains spared sargasses because sheltered from the prevailing winds. Basse-Terre is also: the soufrière, the hikes, the waterfalls, the botanical garden, the mangrove and its ilets, the rum, the scuba diving, ...

We loved our stay at this house. The feel is somewhat rustic — the windows and doors open fully and let in the coastal breeze, but also sometimes critters, but we greatly enjoyed the experience of staying there. The pool was clean and refreshing, the perfect temperature, and the grounds were immaculately maintained. A good amount of hot water, and modern showers. The kitchen was full of everything we needed. The beds are on the older side, but we slept very well in general, especially with how active our vacation was.The beach, with wide golden sand and clear water, was a short but steep walk down the hill, very convenient. Our stay was over Easter, so some of the nearby restaurants had odd hours, but everyone was extremely nice, despite our limited French. The recommendations from our host were spot on. In particular, we loved Pelican Adventures and Chez Raf, but the Blue Lagoon sunset boat trip was also incredible.This is a terrific home base for a stay in Guadeloupe. The Basse Terre side is wild and gorgeous. It was our first visit, but will not be our last.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The owner provided great property and local recommendations that truly enhanced our visit.The concierge service was outstanding—the home was spotless, well organized, and very welcoming upon arrival. Booking activities and extras was easy and well coordinated. A highlight was our snorkeling trip with Anbadlola. Adelaide was a passionate and knowledgeable guide, making it a memorable experience. We also enjoyed the restaurant recommendations, especially Chez Raf and Paradize Kafé.Highly recommended—we would happily return.

We had a large party of 9 guests and the Villa was an excellent base to relax and enjoy the sun and give us a break from our Canadian winter. We were unaware of the BBC show "Death in Paradise however met various UK'ers intown that showed us the sights. The seafood and fishing were amazing and we all have a new appreciation for wild roosters
