About this house rental
A fun fact about Salt Lick Creek Cottage, it used to be the town's floral shop! Now, it’s part of Red Boiling Spring’s Historic District. When you stay with us, see if you can find any decor inspired by the cottage's history!
Inside Salt Lick Creek Cottage, you’ll find all the comforts of home in a thoughtfully arranged space. The full kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, oven and stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, hot water kettle, blender, toaster, cookware, and utensils—everything you need to cook and enjoy meals during your stay.
The living area offers two comfy couches, a TV with streaming apps, board games, books, and toys for a cozy night in. A dining table sits conveniently in the open living space, and the cottage is kept comfortable with a wall heater, window A/C unit, and free Wi-Fi throughout.
The bedroom features a queen bed, dresser, and closet, plus a small desk perfect for remote work or writing. For families, a portable playpen and an air mattress are available for flexible sleeping arrangements.
A washer and dryer are tucked in the hallway for your convenience. The bathroom has a step-up entry with a privacy curtain and includes a shower/tub combo and a circulating water heater that ensures endless hot water—ideal after a day of exploring the park or strolling the trails.
We rent out both Salt Lick Creek Cottage and the Country Colonial Retreat next door (the former Hudson House and also part of the town’s Historic District). The Cottage is our pet-friendly option, and when rented together, the two make the perfect setting for a memorable extended family getaway.
Red Boiling Springs is steeped in rich history and is famous for its mineral waters, long believed to have healing properties. Travelers have come from around the world for over a century—and many still do—to experience them. The town once had dozens of hotels and boarding houses!
