Located in La Cala de Mijas, the villa Mariposa offers guests a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea. The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls) with a dedicated workspace for home office, a smart TV with streaming services, air conditioning, a washing machine, a dryer as well as beach/pool towels. On top of that, gym equipment is also provided for your enjoyment. A baby cot is also available. Private outdoor area featuring a pool, garden, 3 open terraces, a covered terrace, 3 balconies, barbecue, playground, and outdoor shower.
The property is located close to the beach, public transport links are within walking distance and there is a tennis court within a 15-minute walk.

We loved our stay at Villa Mariposa! The kitchen was modern and well equipped, cupboards were filled with the basic things you would need on holiday. The bedrooms were nice, although only 1 on suite which we didn’t realise until arriving, with one outside which I assume is for the pool. Communal spaces were great, lots of different spaces to enjoy, a bar upstairs with its own fridge and dishwasher was a really nice touch. The external space of this property was its best feature. 2 bbq’s and lots of loungers and outdoor seating. The pool and garden were really well maintained, zero complaints there. The older people in our group found the walk back a little taxing as it is quite steep, but other than that well located with food and drink options within a 10 minute walk.Lee was great at both check in and check out which we really appreciated. Great stay in all, highly recommended.

Pros: The villa was a perfect base for day trips to Gibralta, Mijas, Marbella and Sotogrande.
It also was a great spot to relax by the pool and enjoy the sunshine.
Kitchen was well appointed with a lovely large fridge freezer.
Lee was a great host always available to help
