I took a girls' trip over a long weekend and stayed here. The property was very well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and everything was in great condition. The hot tub and patios were lovely to have outdoor time while relaxing at home, and we had everything we needed to cook. There is a fog horn you can hear outside, it sounds like a soft beeping sound, so just something to be aware of (I'm sure it's audible throughout the town). For a larger group, there isn't a huge gathering area as the seating is spread out across a few nooks.

My family spends every Labor Day in Bodega Bay, usually at the same accommodations. This year, our regular VRBO rental was already booked—but that led us to this gem, which turned out to be an upgrade in every way.After our stay, we realized my daughter had left her jacket behind. Wine & Country went above and beyond by reaching out and offering to ship it back to us.Thank you, Wine & Country, for the wonderful stay and exceptional service!

The house is nice - it has a private driveway and yard, the furnishings and design are nice, the kitchen is pretty well stocked. Unfortunately, they have ants. The property management says they’re available 24/7 to assist, but they don’t respond unless it is 9-5. They said they couldn’t do anything about the ants and ended up bringing a can of Raid to the house. I could not find a broom, so they brought one, but no dustpan - there was a dirty, broken one in the garage that I used. The house was fairly clean, but I swept a lot to deal with the ants and the floors weren’t very clean to begin with, though the toilets and showers were clean and the linens were clean. The couch that folds down into a bed didn’t have any instructions on how to do that and it took a little while to figure it out. The location of the house is okay, you can walk to a few shops and restaurants, but no beaches are really in walking distance, I don’t think. We were the second renters, so hopefully this feedback will help.
