Amazing view. Quiet and serene. Cabin was a convenient location to the hiking we planned. Would have preferred a much firmer bed, otherwise a good stay.

We took a chance to go to southern illinois because we never went to Shawnee forest. It was a lovely stay. The ybit was wonderful and set on a cliff above the Ohio river. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Great water pressure in shower. Back dwck was great to sit and relax at in the night time. Nice fire put out back. Was more a wonderful place to stay than doing acticities on site. We left to find adventured and activities nearby. It is set perfectly for short drives to the forest or to state parks on the river which we spent the days visiting and exploring the area. Lots of sights to see and places to experience.

Great view of river from porch. Clean accommodations and convenient for exploring Shawnee National Forest. Added bonus that it was pet friendly.
