The cozy waterfront cottage lived up to it's name! We came up in March from New England so we didn't really do anything in the water. We were visiting my husband's brother and only stayed a few days. Unfortunately my 8 year old got sick and so I stayed with him most of the time. But the setting was lovely. The lake really is right there- about 10 steps down and you're at the dock. There is no railing but the steps are wide enough that my two year old didn't have a problem walking up and down. The beds are super comfortable! The tv works but you do need to have your streaming passwords- I'm not sure how else you'd watch anything. (This also may be because I didn't try that hard). The driveway is very steep so I wouldn't drive anything too fragile down there. There was some construction noise- work was being done on a nearby road but overall it was quiet and peaceful. Houses are close by and they were empty when we were there- however, if you are looking for isolation, this would not be it. Mind you, I'm not complaining- I'm trying to give details that might matter. I don't regret booking it at all and that's even given the sick kid!

Great place to spend with family in nature during cold season! Great host. Would definitely consider staying over again during the summer.

The house is tremendously equipped. the owners were kind enough to decorate for Christmas for us including a tree which made the experience for my grandkids very special.Highly highly recommend
