About this villa rental
This Duplex is beautifully decorated and furnished with the guests comfort in mind. Located on a corner complete withnit’s own entrance, porch and patio, this Duplex was designed and insulated so you never know the owner is next door. The kitchenis well stocked with all you need to make a Thanksgiving dinner, including a Margarita Machine. The front porch encourages “front porch sitting” to watch the friendly neighbors go by.
This home is 2 bedroom 2.5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are located upstairs with their own on-suite. There is a TV in the living toom as well as each Bedroom. The master has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. This home sleeps 6 as There is a sleeper in the living room
The Palmetto Moon Cottage is located in the Heart of Port Royal, a wonderful walking community. Close to water and a wonderful walking/biking trail

We had an OK stay in this rental. The location is nice and surrounding area easily walkable. This property is a duplex . The description lists it as an entire house, but truly, it's a duplex with shared walls, which normally I wouldn't rent. It's mentioned that the homeowner lives "next door" rather than stating it's a duplex. Also, the pictures on VRBO show a cute secluded patio with red umbrella and nice patio furniture, but that area was not at all as pictured. It was more of a storage area and not set up for use, so a bit disappointing. That was one of the reasons we chose this rental. Other posted pictures of the house also are not updated, although the interior was generally fine. Just not as pictured. I had a business meeting and the internet connectivity wasn't great, so I'd suggest finding an alternative location if you have a virtual meeting. Small details like several burned out lightbulbs and several missing rods on the window blinds, making them difficult to open & close were noted. Overall, our stay was OK...but a little different than previous places I've rented.
