About this apartment rental
This super stylish and pet-friendly 1-bedroom flat is in the heart of downtown Frederick, MD. It is steps from all the newest and best breweries in town. Want amazing coffee? Frederick Coffee Co. is right around the corner. Stroll down Carroll Creek and grab a bite to eat at the many restaurants right along the water. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, smart TV, as well as heat and AC to keep you comfortable. Walk to downtown Frederick and all of the shopping and activities! (Quick note: Dogs may not be left unattended or bark excessively)
You are:
-A 5 minute walk to Market street, the home of downtown Frederick’s famous antique shops
-On a low-traffic street
-A 15 minute walk to Baker Park, where you can relax and watch a free outdoor concert
-1 minute away to Carroll Creek to see the boat display
-10 minute drive from Gambrill State Park beach, hiking and campgrounds
-25 minute drive to several local wineries including Linganore, Black Ankle, Hidden Hills, & Orchid Cellar
-45 minute drive from Gettysburg National Park

-Prime location, in a hip and exciting part of downtown Frederick
-A historic home built in 1915 that still has charming remnants of the past, like stairs that creak and plastered, imperfect walls
-Completely renovated in 2022 (Please note there is a tall flight of stairs to access the apartment)
-Smart TV
-Ductless mini split AC and heater maintains a perfect temperature year-round
-High-speed internet suitable for multiple streaming devices
-Dog bed for small and a big dog available
-Water and food bowl

-Guests have the entire apartment to themselves.

-Frederick is about 45 minutes from Washington, D.C, one hour from Baltimore, M.D., and 45 minutes from the Dulles Airport.
-The home is located just off of Route 15 and Rosemont Ave, near Baker Park.

Dedicated off-street parking is behind the house. Follow the check in instructions within the welcome guide to find it.

-Your unique code will be provided 24 hours before you arrive for your stay. The code changes after every guest. The apartment is accessed via a flight of stairs.

- We provide basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, dish detergent, towels, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, cooking oil, and a variety of spices. Other amenities for your comfort include makeup removal towels, blow dryer, feminine products and a first aid kit. These amenities are a great foundation! If you’d like extra items or have personal preferences, you are welcome to bring those.
THE LOCATION
The home is within walking distance of downtown Frederick and a 3 minute drive to the nearest highway (Highway 70). The neighborhood is vibrant and close to nightlife.
HEATING AND COOLING
A ductless mini split heating and cooling system keeps the temperature perfect year-round. The temperature can be adjusted using the remotes that are mounted to the wall, but all units must be on the same setting, that is all must be on heat or all must be on cooling.
INTERNET
Fast internet can accommodate multiple streaming devices, browsing the Internet, virtual meetings, and gaming.
THINGS TO DO
Visit Downtown Frederick’s antique shops, breweries, and restaurants which are all within walking distance. Or, you can go to nearby hiking trails or to a winery. A curated guidebook will offer you multiple options for things to do during your stay.

Host was welcoming and helpful. Responded quickly to bringing salt for freezing/ice on the steps. Had minor issues with backyard not being fully fenced in or access to a porch light for cleaning up poop. Bath and toiletries are available and well labeled, however brands/scents aren't labeled. I'm allergic to lavender so I couldn't risk using any.

Host was very accommodating and kind. Property is well-maintained, with modern/contemporary decor and fixtures. Shower was much smaller than I would have liked, and there was a bit of a mildewy smell. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
