Small and beautiful Rockport is on the west side of Penobscot Bay, between Rockland and Camden. Fifty years ago, Rockport was home to lobstermen and fishermen who built their weirs in the harbor, but today the harbor is mainly for pleasure boats. Launch a kayak from the dock in the harbor nearby and paddle the harbor, keeping a watchful eye out for harbor seals.
As you arrive at the property, there is off street parking enough for 2 cars and 2 more on the street if needed. Walking into the house there is a spaciously living room with a large flat screen Smart TV with Apple TV. The house was in perfect order with instructions on everything. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with lots of gadgets and a terrific pantry. Unfortunately we had some problems with the main floor toilet but were able to get it working. We did use that big air conditioning unit one night as it got rather hot. It is a lovely house and we enjoyed it very much.
