Sound side Water views, privacy and just steps from Gulf

We were extremely satisfied with the spaciousness and cleanliness of this property. All of the rooms were well appointed and the Master’s Suite upstairs was HUGE! Having a garage door opener was a bonus and we used the provided beach cart/wagon to haul nice beach chairs to the beach. The garage was large enough to park our full size pick up inside although we just parked it in the driveway. Our host communicated well insuring all we had to do was arrive and walk in. Location is close to the beach, the bay and some of Navarre Beach’s most popular restaurants. Highly recommend!

The outdoor spaces are awesome and the paddleboard and kayaks and beach chairs were such an added value. Men had a good week fishing on the little private pier and playing in the sound. We went to the gulf side beach too. The rental itself is dated and a little dirty because of old carpet, tile in bathrooms, and popcorn ceilings. Carpet is pulling off the stairs. The kitchen was well-equipped but small. Cracked flooring in the kitchen. Decor was tasteful. Master bedroom was lovely but bathrooms left something to be desired. Black mold in the grout lines on the ceiling in the shower. Lights flickered and some didn’t work. Linens were adequate but the sheets on one queen bed had old elastic and wouldn’t stay on the bed—would have been a deal-breaker for me but my adult son didn’t care too much. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well and there were plenty of fans. I wish I didn’t have to wash the towels and put them away before leaving. Also dishes.If you’re an active family who would enjoying biking, kayaking and fishing and paddle boarding, this could be a good rental for you. As the only woman in the party, I felt the master bath was a let down—wonky layout but especially the black stuff in the grout— but my boys and husband loved the outdoor spaces so much it’s hard to complain too much. The owner was very responsive. There was no toaster but it was delivered immediately along with a bike pump which we actually used several times. The rental is very well equipped!

Pros** very clean, comfortable and spacious! Loved the closeness of the pool and bay side! Cons** too many flights of stairs, required to wash the dishes and towels before the we left after paying a cleaning fee, pool/beach equipment not in good shape but did keep us from having to buy chairs , also had to replace boogie board as it was broke in half and bycicle tires were flat so couldn't ride them. Overall experience was great!
