Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 408. Think Sanibel Siesta on the Beach for your next tropical getaway! This spacious 2 bed/2 bath non-smoking unit features all the comforts of home plus everything Sanibel Island has to offer! The master suite has a king bed with a new plush pillow-top mattress and access to a private screened lanai. The guest room has twin beds but can be made into a king upon request. The large and bright living/dining room with a beachy theme leads to a screened lanai overlooking a tropical pond and a side view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters and stainless-steel appliances (ice-maker in freezer). Both bathrooms are walk-in with glass doors and grab bars. Other amenities include ceiling fans, central air, 3 satellite flat-screen TVs, queen size sleeper sofa, linens, and a starter pack of soaps, paper products and coffee. You will also enjoy your own private garage containing beach chairs, loungers and a beach umbrella for your convenience. Beach towels are available for rent or purchase from our on-site office. Sanibel Siesta offers tennis courts, heated swimming pool, Wifi, bike rentals, shuffleboard, gas grills, laundry facilities and elevators-all in a lush tropical setting with amazing sunsets! Both the beach and pool are just steps away. Sanibel Siesta is a special place for a memorable Sanibel vacation.
We are conveniently located within walking distance of a golf course and restaurants. Reservation pricing is based on a party of 4. A $30daily fee will apply for any 5th or 6th person, a 1-time extra linen charge of $35.00 will apply. Max occupancy is 6 including children and infants. NO PETS.

The apartment was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The lift was out of service in our building so we had to drag our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, the office is a portacabin and there are only portaloos by the pool, so like many resorts, it is still undergoing renovations. But it's on the beach, and there were umbrellas, boogie board, and noodles in the garage for us to use. There were only folding picnic chairs to sit on, but when I mentioned this to the office staff they kindly loaned us traditional pool loungers for the rest of our stay, so we took them to and from the beach every day and we were very comfortable. We loved early morning beachwalks and spotting turtle tracks in the sand.
Sanibel has not yet fully recovered from hurricane Ian so not easy to find places to eat in the evening, especially as we eat late and most places shut at 9. But we had a wonderful week, rented bikes one day and a paddle board another day, and mostly lazed on the beach or by the pool.

Lovely relaxing break by the beach. Very close to beach, plenty of beach equipment provided in garage, chairs, umbrellas etc.
Pool was good, kids loved it.
Communal gas BBQs were good, used a few times.
Plenty of books, games, jigsaws etc. In property if it's a wet day.
Enjoyed our stay, Sanibel was great.
