The Space:
Set high on the Blackall Range, this beautifully appointed home offers uninterrupted views to the coast, surrounded by lush gardens and tranquil birdlife. The property is situated close to the popular wedding venue Flaxton Gardens, just a four-minute drive from Montville village, and within walking distance to the picturesque Kondalilla Falls National Park.
Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area features polished timber floors, a fireplace, and a seamless connection to the expansive deck, fitted with a ceiling Heat Strip radiator, wind-rated blinds, and a Weber BBQ for year-round entertaining.
All four bedrooms and the main living area are air-conditioned, with high-speed NBN for remote work or streaming. The home is also equipped with a Sonos sound system throughout and three Smart TVs with Netflix and Disney+. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction cooktop, fridge with ice and chilled water, and Nespresso machine with milk frother. Board games, books and a telescope are also provided for rainy days and stargazing nights.
Upstairs features three bedrooms:
- Primary king bedroom with stunning views, walk-in robe, ensuite, and Smart TV
- Second queen bedroom with deck access and coastal outlook
- Third bedroom with two king singles which can be zipped into a king upon request.
A main bathroom, separate powder room, and large laundry with washer and dryer complete this level.
Downstairs, a private studio offers a king bed, kitchenette, Smart TV and dining table, perfect for grandparents, couples, or anyone wanting their own space. Please note: there is no toilet in the studio and entry is via external access only.
There is undercover parking for one car in the garage with additional storage, off-street parking for three more vehicles, and space for two more at the front of the property.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home, studio and parking for 1 car in the garage. Plus driveway parking for up to 3 cars.
The Neighborhood:
The home is situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, a fabulous spot for hiking, sightseeing birdlife, beautiful falls and rainforests, or for simply just relaxing. You’re just a short drive to the delightful township of Montville with its boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Popular wedding venue Flaxton Gardens is just 2.3km away. And the hinterland area is renowned for its fresh produce - visit a winery, a craft brewery or a local dairy. There’s plenty to experience in the area!

*Unfortunately we do not accept bookings for school leavers. Strictly must be over the age of 25 to book.
*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.

We had the most beautiful stay. The house was exceptional with clean, modern facilities and breathtaking views. We loved the garden too, a touch of paradise. Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was seamless. We will definitely be back!

House was very clean except for some kitchen appliances & utensils. Lots of amenities. Very spacious. Lovely view. Lots of storage space. Steep driveway - may be difficult for older people and disabled to walk down, but easy to drive down and park in front of the entry. No grab rails in bathroom. The Barn at Flaxton is excellent for lunch and serves a wonderful high tea. Property manager responded promptly to questions.Overall we had an excellent week.
