About this cottage rental

Dockside cottage is the perfect location! Just 10 minutes to Truro or Stewiacke and 35 to Dartmouth crossing or 45 to downtown Halifax!!

There is a bakery in Brookfield that has the most amazing treats which is just a few minutes away!

The lake has a public boat launch so bringing your boat is very convenient. After a day of tubing, relax in the hot tub or enjoy a fire, lakeside!

The cottage will have everything you need! It is truly your home away from home!

We had an excellent ‘home away from home’ experience at Dockside cottage/house. Communication with our host was efficient and quick with exceptional service during the Christmas holidays. All supplies and necessary needs were taken care of for twin babies, (playpen, baby gate, etc.), as well as hosting Christmas dinner and 2 birthday celebrations. The view is breathtaking, furniture is modern and appealing and proximity /travel to our daughter’s home was within 1/2 hour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again in the future.

Fantastic location, everything you need is there. Lake is gorgeous and the hot tub was wonderful. Fenced in yard for our dog was perfect!

The property is quite beautiful though might have benefited from some cleaning details. It was very distant from everything so be prepared to get everything you need right away or make frequent, long trips to Truro. Beautiful property though!
