Maple house

The house was amazing. Clean, and newer windows upstairs plus air conditioners unit. So nice. Location was right there in town was perfect. Mike the host was easy to work with and even called to inform us that someone was coming to mow the grass that day. Had an issue with the curtain falling and that day had someone come and fix it. My husband and I stayed at The Maple House 6/25/26- 6/28/26. We were attending my 55th high school reunion. We loved the house. It was so much more beautiful than we knew when we rented it. Exposed beams in dining room, leaded glass pocket doors, a fireplace, built in cabinets and cupboards...We love this kind of house.It was easy to walk downtown for breakfast and a great coffee shop.The host was welcoming and answered our questions quickly.The house was very clean. The code was easy to access and worked consistently. When my friends asked where we were staying, we told all of them about this house. Many of them live in the Lower Peninsula of MI, so they need places to stay. Some drive from MN as well.Thank you so much for a fun place to unwind and feel at home!The only thing we'd like was more history on the house like who built it and when and past owners!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while attending a wedding in the area. The house was clean, spacious, and full of charm and character. Mike was very responsive with communication. It was a great experience and we would stay again. Thank you!

This home was a perfect place to stay and relax with family. It was comfortable, had plenty of sleeping options, had lots of streaming services, and a great location in Iron River. It was walking distance to Riverside Pizza (the best pizza!) and ice cream. And the homeowner is very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this rental and would happily stay here again!
