About this house rental
The Mermaid room is a luxurious 400 sq ft ground-floor studio featuring a private entrance, bedroom, and a spacious master bath. A small buffet bar features a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hotplates, and an air fryer.
If you'd like to check in early, check with me. It's possible.
There are 4.5 other units available on the property. The half-room is the Hostage room. Lol! It is located downstairs inside the house, featuring a private 1/4 bath. It is less than 100 sq ft, but cozy with a TV, bed, dresser, air conditioning, and a 1/2 bath across the hall. It's usually used by guests who are visiting full-room guests. Ask me for info.
Private dock. Boaters Paradise is located on the Cotee River about .5 mi from the open Gulf. Bring your fresh catch (grouper, tuna, Mahi, snook, sheepshead, and more) and throw it on the grill. Giant outside property on the river with dock access.
My friends say the house is haunted. Lol! The man who built the home is also said to haunt the downtown Suncoast Theater. You can make your own decision. If Willard does haunt the house, he is a nice ghost. No clocks will keep time, so you'll notice there aren't any in the house.
Surrounded by several tiki bars within kayaking distance. Can also kayak to downtown, Sims Park, Durney Key, Anclote Key, and several sandbars.
There are several places nearby to rent boats, paddleboards, and bicycles. I have/ several kayaks which are free to use.
Golf cart rental is also available.
Visit downtown New Port Richey, home to several new restaurants, breweries, and bars. Check out Sims Park for festivals and concerts. Try Tropical Breeze Casino.
Barbeques. Choose from a smoker, gas or charcoal grill.
Buy cheap hot dogs to feed the birdie (Rudy). He's the one in the pictures.
Extremely clean, well-behaved pups are welcome with a $25 cleaning fee.
Out back is a large screened-in patio, a large picnic table, a private dock, and a fire pit.

Absolutely the best little staycation that I treated myself to. It was close to home but Gary enough to relax and enjoy the peacefulness by the water. My main reason for staying here was so I could enjoy the Christmas boat parade and not fight with crowds and parking.. this was perfect for me and my fur baby

Very clean and beautifully decorated with vibrant, breezy colors. The open floor plan encouraged socializing and still allowed for quiet solitude. Great yard to take in some sun, chill, and play with your fur baby. Huge floating docks for fishing, sunbathing, droppin in kayaks or takin a dip. Our room had a full kitchen compliment; full size fridge, silverware, plates, cups, glasses, hot plate, microwave, Keurig, coffee, and a terrific gift basket with tasty snacks and beverages.Great location; plenty of parking for all guests.Amy was an amazing hostess and offered lots of tips for checking out the local scene. She even allowed us to bake a pie in her kitchen for the holiday!!Looking forward to staying here again!!

We and our pups had the best time! Amy, our host, couldn’t have been kinder. She made sure that all that we could need was there and ready. The Mermaid Room was perfect!! And absolutely adorable. And I don’t know what kind of mattress it is…but it’s the most comfortable I’ve ever slept!!! Her home and the grounds, are lovely and so calming. You can sit by the water and just feel the peace.
