THE URBAN COWBOY | Historic loft meets the spirit of the cowboy

This vacation rental was very cool. We loved having a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. There were even some snacks in place. We had local friends over for dinner. The beds are king size 🙌, were comfortable and the bed linens were ahhh divine! Even took pictures of the tags so I could buy some for myself lol. Another plus was the washer and dryer. There’s a pool table which is great and a nice bar area but we didn’t use them. We loved the decor. Great breakfast sandwiches and donuts etc. at bakery next-door & the gym next door on the other side to work off those bakery calories. Nice detail I didn’t figure out till the day before we left but there’s a filtered water spout on the interior of the fridge so no need to buy bottled water. there was even a junk drawer with extra pens, notebooks, batteries, decks of cards, spare phone charger and instructions on the blue tooth speaker that sits on the butcher block in the kitchen. I have long thick curly hair, needing good shower head pressure to wash it. Was no problem with the rain heads. I didn’t think I’d like them but I did. Now my husband wants one in our shower🙄. There’s a grill on the porch. I loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and reading. Napped out there a couple times . The bedrooms are great for sleeping and napping if you like a dark room. The only windows are across the front where the living room , dining & kitchen is There’s all the utensils a person would need in the kitchen. Blow dryer‘s in each bathroom. I saw a curling iron as well. Lots of dresser storage for clothes and one of the bedrooms has a closet for hanging clothes. The gym next-door can be quite noisy & hog the parking lot. We knew there was a gym next-door when we booked; therefore, we expected some noise. However, we didn’t expect Llano residents to be working out at 2 AM. I think the sound is worse because it’s an old building and likely not much insulation. Bring ear plugs for sleeping. The host was great to communicate with & quickly answer any questions I had (both before & during our stay). We would definitely stay again on next trip to Llano.

Perfect location, great decor and layout with 2 king beds and en-suite baths, awesome entertainment setup with the pool table (we played every night) and TV with alllll the apps. Walking distance to the town square (but it was a bit chilly so we drove most of the time). Lots to do in Llano - we toured the Museum and Red Top Jail, drank at the Distillery and Brewery, and shopped at the boutique stores. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for everything!
