About this cottage rental

The Farmhouse is a well-proportioned period property that has evolved from the late 17th century through to the early 20th century near Broadway. The property has been lovingly renovated to make the most of the spectacular views across the half-acre of garden and rolling countryside beyond. The flexible layout makes this an ideal home to come together with extended family and friends, accommodating 10+1 in five generous double bedrooms and the +1 in the single mezzanine level. There is a superb kitchen and breakfast room, also ideal for lounging and enjoy the view with a glass of wine! The large sitting room has a gorgeous feature fireplace with wood burning stove, perfect for winter evenings, and in the summer throw open the bi-fold doors that lead straight out onto the terrace with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating.

A spacious, detached holiday home with contemporary open plan accommodation. Located in the unspoilt countryside, The Farmhouse is situated in the peaceful village of Aston Somerville near Broadway and is ideal for groups of friends or family gatherings and those looking to explore the North Cotswolds. Enjoy the beautiful countryside in this peaceful setting with a table with seating for six, comfortable L-shaped outdoor sofa with seating five, additional outdoor chair and stool, charcoal BBQ and outdoor tap. Views of the rolling countryside, paddocks and beyond. At the front of the house is off-road parking for up to five cars

The maximum occupancy for this property is 11 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

Shops, pubs and restaurants all within a few miles by car - the local pub is The Beckford Inn in Tewkesbury about 4 miles away and a Russell’s Restaurant and Lygon Arms in Broadway
This is an older property with beautiful character features, but includes some low beams and low ceilings upstairs. There are steep steps to the mezzanine with the +1 single bed
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Beautiful house in a great location near to Broadway. Lots of space, lovely decor, cosy and very clean. Neil the host was very helpful (by WhatsApp) and even arranged for flowers and balloons as it was my mum’s 80th celebration. Such a thoughtful touch and will be remembered. There were some other lovely touches but I won’t spoil the surprise for other guests - you’ll just have to stay to find out, and I can highly recommend you do!

We stayed here for a get together with family for my wife's birthday and was just what we needed. Any questions I had were answered quickly throughout by Neil so cant thank him enough. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was just genuinely lovely throughout. It was just what we needed and was also great location for walking the dog. I highly recommend this house and sure we will look at using it again in the future. The added balloons, hamper and present was a lovely touch also so thank you Neil for making this a perfect little break and making everything easy for our welcomed break.

I cannot say how impressed we were with the farmhouse and also the attentiveness of Neil, the owner. Neil went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, with balloons in the lounge for my husband's birthday, a wonderful welcome pack, regular, non-intrusive check-ins throughout, and a lovely parting gift. The farmhouse is situated in the most beautiful location with wonderful views, with a short car journey to Broadway. We had the most wonderful time there and would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful weekend away here with our family in celebration of my dad’s 70th birthday. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was a great size, clean, comfortable and really well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The view was lovely. The children especially enjoyed watching the sheep in the field behind the house which was a real highlight for them. Neil was a fantastic host. We were greeted with a thoughtful and generous selection of welcome gifts which was a lovely surprise. He was always responsive and incredibly helpful, and he truly went above and beyond when he arranged the retrieval of our dog’s gps tracker that we hadn’t realised was missing until we got home and very kindly posted it back to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily recommend this property to others. We would definitely consider staying here again.
