About this cottage rental

The Farmhouse is a well-proportioned period property that has evolved from the late 17th century through to the early 20th century near Broadway. The property has been lovingly renovated to make the most of the spectacular views across the half-acre of garden and rolling countryside beyond. The flexible layout makes this an ideal home to come together with extended family and friends, accommodating 10+1 in five generous double bedrooms and the +1 in the single mezzanine level. There is a superb kitchen and breakfast room, also ideal for lounging and enjoy the view with a glass of wine! The large sitting room has a gorgeous feature fireplace with wood burning stove, perfect for winter evenings, and in the summer throw open the bi-fold doors that lead straight out onto the terrace with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating.

A spacious, detached holiday home with contemporary open plan accommodation. Located in the unspoilt countryside, The Farmhouse is situated in the peaceful village of Aston Somerville near Broadway and is ideal for groups of friends or family gatherings and those looking to explore the North Cotswolds. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

The Farmhouse has attractive and mature garden with a generous patio, manicured lawn area and wild grass area. Enjoy the beautiful countryside in this peaceful setting with a table with seating for six, comfortable L-shaped outdoor sofa with seating five, additional outdoor chair and stool, charcoal BBQ and outdoor tap. Views of the rolling countryside, paddocks and beyond. At the front of the house is off-road parking for up to five cars

The maximum occupancy for this property is 11 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

Off street parking is available for up to 5 cars
1 travel cot and 1 highchair provided (A thick foam cot mattress is provided but please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

Please be aware that The Farmhouse is located in a quiet and peaceful area, and we respectfully request that guests are mindful of neighbours at all times, especially when outside, noise and music need to be kept to a minimum beyond 10pm
Shops, pubs and restaurants all within a few miles by car - the local pub is The Beckford Inn in Tewkesbury about 4 miles away and a Russell’s Restaurant and Lygon Arms in Broadway
This is an older property with beautiful character features, but includes some low beams and low ceilings upstairs. There are steep steps to the mezzanine with the +1 single bed
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Things to Note...
Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups are allowed
Commercial and work-related bookings are not permitted without prior consent

We had lovely stay at The Farmhouse. We were celebrating a big birthday with family, and so glad we chose this impressive house as it was perfect for us all. The house was very clean, all rooms are very spacious & comfortable, beautiful views and ample parking. The amazing owner went above and beyond to make this occasion very special, and the communication before our arrival was excellent. We would love to stay here again one day.

We were impressed with how the house was presented and the kitchen had everything you could want when cooking. The one thing which we were a little disappointed with was the mattresses in the main bedroom and felt they were all a little soft. Also we felt the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen was a bit crowded with things people had left!! We did enjoy our week though.
