About this house rental

Casa de Alta is a spacious 6-bedroom home that offers three separate living rooms, allowing groups to gather in various areas while also providing plenty of privacy. Located just a short distance from Main Street Breckenridge and the ski resort, this distinctive vacation home is perfect for families and groups. Advanced skiers can access the slopes via the Burro Trail (conditions permitting), and the trail is also great for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking during the summer months.

The main level features a dining area that seats up to 16 people—8 at the dining table and 8 at the kitchen counter—making it perfect for large meals and easy entertaining. Also on this floor, you’ll find four of the six bedrooms. The first master king suite has a private bathroom with a jetted tub, and one queen bedroom shares a bathroom with the common areas. Additionally, there are two bunk bed rooms—one with two bunk beds and the other with a captain’s bunk (twin over full)—which share a bathroom between them.

On the lower level, there are two more bedrooms and a second living room. The second master king suite features a private bathroom with a jetted tub. The queen bedroom has a shared full bathroom with dual sinks. This level’s living room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a DVD Blu-Ray player, a gas fireplace, and a sleeper sofa.

The upper-level living room is a great space for kids, featuring a pool table, flat-screen TV, DVD Blu-Ray player, stereo, and a gas fireplace. With a sleeper sofa, it’s perfect for winding down after a day of adventures. For ultimate relaxation, enjoy the private indoor hot tub without having to brave the cold outdoor air. And don't forget to take in beautiful views of Peak 8 from the front deck.

Located in the quiet Warriors Mark West residential neighborhood at Peak 10, Casa de Alta offers quick access to Main Street Breckenridge (less than 2 miles away), where you can enjoy shopping, dining, nightlife, and all the amenities of this charming mountain town. The free shuttle is conveniently located at the corner of Gold King Way, providing easy access to the slopes or into town.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a great location easy for morning and evening walks! The pool table upstairs was missing a ball.Having a hot tub inside the house is very noisy for the two bedrooms that are located off the hot tub room! As well the beds were pretty worn and mostly like sleeping in a taco or on a very thin piece of bread.The large table was lovely and amazing for a large group. The bedding and towels were clean and very sufficient. Although there were a lot of tools in the kitchen, the knives were so dull they barely cut anything, that could use some updating. The parking situation should be revealed in the description on the VRBO site. We only got that information once we were within 48 hours of checking in. It was fine for my group, but can be an issue for some.Communication form property manager was very good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a good experience and if we have a large group we would consider this home again. Now for the pro's and con's...The heater in the quad bunk room is broken or we couldn't figure out how to work it. We had to move people around because it was cold. Some of the furniture is old, the dining table looks as if it's about to collapse and some of the beds are very old and uncomfortable. Specifically the bunks. There were stains on the dining chairs.Now for the pro's, though some things in the home need updating, it was a comfortable and clean home with plenty of room for a large group. The hot tub is a nice feature, very clean. The pool table on the top level was also nice to have. They had everything you could need in the kitchen upstairs. Only 5 minutes to town. All and all, it was great for our 10 person group.
