About this bed and breakfast
This bright beautiful room has a antique iron bed with a very comfortable mattress. It has exquisite antique furniture and large closet. You can also relax on the loveseat by the sunny window. This room has an en-suite bath with a large tiled shower.
Please note: Cats in residence. We are centrally located on 13 beautiful acres in Hazel Grove, just 20 minutes from Charlottetown and Brackley Beach, 10 minutes from Cavendish and a short drive from most major attractions. We offer three comfortable and elegantly appointed rooms, each with its own private bath.
We offer full service from morning until night. Start your day with a full breakfast served in our bright two storey dining room before heading out to see the sights. Return later to the aroma of fresh baked goods in the afternoon, enjoy our guest living room or kick back on our spacious private deck. Feel like a walk? Stroll through the forest in absolute peace and quiet. Relax in the evening with a pot of tea or coffee and then bed down in our pillow top beds for a relaxing sleep. Rainy day? Take advantage of our selection of board games or curl up on one of the many sofas with a good book. Still insist on being plugged in? Take advantage of our free WiFi.
There’s lots to do on this beautiful island of ours. We are centrally located, being just 20 minutes from Charlottetown and Brackley Beach, 10 minutes from Cavendish and a short drive from most major attractions. PEI has some of the best coastal views in the world and some of the best golf courses as well. We have amazing beaches, delicious seafood and of course Anne of Green Gables. If you like outdoor activities, we have stunning running, walking, hiking and biking trails. If water activities is what you love, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are an amazingly unique experience.

What a wonderful experience at.sueh a quaint B & B. A beautiful property off the highway hidden in the forest. House and room were extremely comfortable and inviting!!! Our host Marilyn was a great friendly hostess and made an amazing breakfast each morning with so much variety, eggs, bacon,crepes, fresh fruit, muffins etc etc. We hope to visit again.Thanks so.much Marilyn!

My husband and I were both thrilled beyond our expectations with our stay at Chestnut Lane! Marilyn is the consummate host - friendly, accommodating, and truly concerned with making your time in her B & B a positive experience. She anticipates your every need. The place is kept immaculately clean daily and her attention to the smallest detail is admirable. But, her breakfasts, though! Oh, my! She puts on a spread fit for royalty! One other lovely detail is that Chestnut Lane is situated off a main road, right in the middle of the island, so it is accessible to anywhere you may wish to visit. It is set back off the road, though, so it is quiet and peaceful. Do yourself a favor and book this B & B for your vacation. You will be glad you did!
