Our spacious home is the perfect mountain base for families and groups, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.

Parking: The property includes a one-car garage and an ample driveway with free parking space for multiple vehicles.
We respect our guests' privacy and offer a seamless self-check-in process. While we will not be present at the property during your stay, we are always available via the booking platform or phone if you have any questions or need assistance.
Beech Mountain Club Access: Access to club amenities (golf, tennis, pool, etc.) may be available but must be requested and confirmed before booking. The club charges a separate, minimum $300 fee for temporary guest access.
Weather Conditions: Refunds are not provided due to weather or road conditions. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially for winter travel.

Our party of 10 stayed at Serenity Woods to celebrate the graduation of our Appalachian State student. Positives: There was ample room in the home for everyone to have a comfortable night's sleep. The home is spacious and accommodating with large bedrooms, yet feels cozy and comfortable at the same time. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals while there. Oh and did I meantion TWO refrigerators? The hot tub is a nice touch as well as the fire pit. Smores were had by all! There are also many deer that roam the area. They are curious and do not seem fearful of humans. They are a treat to watch. The back porch is a wonderful addition and our family enjoyed sitting out there watching our corn hole competitions (We brought the boards with). We left a disc golf game for future guests. Cons: Though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall, there were just a few minor issues. Upon arrival, we found the dishwasher overflowing of dishes that appeared washed but had been left unloaded. Several of them were still dirty so I had to run the diswasher again. One of the plates never would come clean. There was a used towel and someone's clean sock left in the upstairs main bedroom. The oven would not turn on but we were able to resolve that issue. These minor issues were reported so I'm sure they will be addressed for future guests. All in all, this was a delightful stay and we would rent Serenity Woods again.

The property was great. We arrived during a winter storm, so the roads in the neighborhood were virtually impassible, but that is not the property owner's fault. Property was accurately represented in the listing and very comfortable for 9 adults. The deer around the property are amazing - they're right out back every morning and evening and are not frightened when you come in or go out - a real treat watching them! We had trouble getting the fireplace to light and the jets / bubbles in the hot tub to turn on, but we didn't want to bother the host with those items. The house was still plenty warm and the hot tub still hot. We would definitely return!

Nice house. Very clean. The oven did not work and the hot tub did not heat up to what the temperature was set to.
Not sure I would pick this house again.
