2500 sq ft Home (2021)

Very easy check in. I must have misread the description because I didn't realize the two rooms in the basement were not included in my reservation. However after a quick message I got the code to access the basement, so all was good! Just have to read the description well. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable home with lots of space to relax.

Staying with friends under one roof, with everyone having their own space and privacy was wonderful. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped; it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Quiet neighbourhood.

We were 4 older women in town for a weekend. Unfortunately, I misread the terms of the listing. It misleading by listing it as “2500 sq ft 5 beds 3.5 bath” home. You have to go all the way to the bottom to see that you don’t get access to 2 bedrooms and 1 bath unless you book 7 people. We messaged about it and no response. After an hour, we messaged VRBO directly. They said we had to call the owner and gave us his number. I called and he advised me of the rules of the listing and said we could pay more. We declined. So, my mistake I missed the print at the bottom. I slept on the sofa. Just keep that in mind when booking. The house was in a nice area, the neighborhood was quiet. As for the inside of the house, it is filthy with items left behind from previous guests. It seems they don’t have a cleaning crew and rely only on their guests to clean, which is extensive. The checkout time is 10am but they want you to wash and dry all the towels and sheets, vacuum, it’s impossible unless you’re up at 6am and starting your cleaning. It’s also lacking in many items. We got groceries to make our supper. There’s no paper towels or washcloths in the kitchen or bathrooms. No can opener, colander, hot pads, pizza cutter. Simple items to have on hand. The blinds were not working so, sleeping on the sofa with the patio windows wide open was a bit scary. We left it cleaner than when we arrived. There were hairs in the sinks and showers. It needs a good cleaning. We wouldn’t stay again
