We have some concerns about the two houses we rented. (We also rented the house that is 2 doors down from this one) Overall, the houses were fine but the primary concern for us, was the cleanliness. The floors and the kitchens were pretty bad. We had a two year old who was barefooted, and her feet were just filthy after walking on the kitchen and living room floors for a couple of hours. They desperately needed to be mopped! Plus there was a tremendous need to vacuum the carpet in the basement (even stepped on a used dried up contact lens). The kitchen cupboards need some serious attention. The items in them are sticky with grime, I think because the stuff in them has been there too too long. The dishes in the cupboard had been put away dirty. With these simple overlooked cleaning necessities, it makes one question the rest of the house. The disrepair of the grill and griminess of the bbq tools just adds to the discomfort.

Clean and surprisingly spacious! We had a large group and no one felt squished in. I especially appreciated how Art had left a large extra air mattress blown up in the basement for us to accommodate our extra people. Check in was super smooth and easy, cleanup and checkout was low maintenance. Being right next to a major road was very convenient for getting around town, but the house was still very quiet. If we come back to the area, we'd definitely stay again!

The house was a really good find. It was stocked beyond what we expected. Not in a noisy neighborhood Very quiet. Secluded but in the city. We have no complaints at all. The biggest thing to us was that there was parking for our trucks and boats. Plenty.

Came to Sterling Heights for a 2 day convention. Very happy with the accommodations. Home is quite dated ....but who cares? The price was very very affordable. It was stocked with paper products...and the like. Water pressures were great. Beds comfortable. Art was a great host. Zero issues. This home is literally on a side street in the middle of the town. Super location! We accidentally left a key fob and a few other items behind by accident and Art immediately text me and tried to catch us before we got too far out of town. No luck there but he quickly offered to mail the items back to us! Great host! For the price this was a fantastic value. No complaints. I wouldn't hesitate to rent with Art again or this property. Basic ..nothing fancy...but a great value for the amount of bedrooms etc.

The house was easy to find but nice that it was out of the way from the main traffic areas, very roomy, hot showers, the grille was very helpful, the garage location and access worked out very well for our staying. The only downside is the area lost power later in the evening the night before we were to leave and never came back on during our stay

This was the perfect home away from home for our family group. Plenty of beds and plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for food prep for event we had going on. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

First off, thank you Art for your house. Exceeded our expectations. Easy and fast communication, clean and cozy house. The house was able to accommodate all of us with additional parking in the back too. If I ever need a good spacious place to stay, this will be my first pick every time.

We took a group of 10 teenagers and 4 adults to a workshop in Detroit and needed somewhere for every one to stay in one place. This house was great! Large kitchen and family room for kids to hang out after a busy day. Picked up pizza and ice cream for reward for a great day and did the Netflix and chill. 6 bedrooms and two air mattresses held everyone. The area was quiet at night. It is surrounded by industrial so not sure what day time would be like. Wish we would have had time to grill on the patio and hang out. Many amenities in kitchen! We could have bought a turkey and made thanksgiving dinner! Large garage and private driveway. The only thing I would change is the shower control valve in the bathroom by the kitchen. It is hard to get a comfortable temperature.

Great property and location. Close to local attractions. Would love to go back. Owners are very friendly. Grocery shopping nearby. Local attractions include St Clair, water parks and The Reptarium. Great food options including a local bakery. Plenty of room. Very nice to have two living rooms / family rooms. Washer and dryer is an added bonus.

for the price it is a value, the property is dated but everything works great. Biggest issue was was the size of the beds, 5 rooms had full size beds and one has a single twin bed.

This home is located in a private setting and it was a great place to stay. There were 12-14 people in our group and we all slept comfortably. This place felt like home and had everything we needed. There were plenty of essentials and kitchen appliances. There were also many places to relax throughout the home. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the patio. So grateful to the amazing host who allowed us to make lots of great memories here!!
