Large and comfortable villa with private pool in Moraira, Costa Blanca, Spain for 8 persons. The house is situated in a residential beach area and at 2 km from El Portet beach. The villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, spread over 3 levels. The accommodation offers privacy, a lawned garden with gravel and trees and a beautiful pool. We loved the stay at casa chimo. The pool was wonderful and also easy to find places in shodow. The youth loved to play pingis and pool.

There were 7 in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone and the facilities provided matched our expectations.
Secure parking for both our vehicles was a nice plus, could have squeezed another 3-4 cars in as well if needed.
We were very happy with our weeks stay there and would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone else.

Superb villa, garden, swimming pool and surrounding area. Walkable distance (down the hill) to beachside cafe's for breakfast and/or lunch as well as a small supermarket at the bottom of the hill as well. A 20-30 minute walk into the centre of town/Castle to restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
All in all - 9/10 rating. Fantastic villa for a relaxing few days with family or friends.

Whilst the property has many good features, and is of a very good size and location it is let down by a number of issues.
The pool area requires maintenance and the additional pool shower was left unused due to it not having been cleaned for many months- full of debris, with a whole in the roof.
The outdoor room with games and additional kitchen is tired and does not have functioning air conditioning, the toilet is broken and the whole area needs a refresh and clean.
There were ongoing issues with plumbing and a leak in one of the bedrooms, whilst it was dealt with, it was disruptive to our stay.
The main kitchen oven did not function properly.
The overall issues could be resolved with a total refresh of the property, considering the cost of the rental this should be dealt with prior to any further lettings.
