About this house rental
About 10 km from Città di Castello lies this romantic stone house in the hills in a quiet side valley. Kitchen-living room with terrace, bedroom with bathroom on the 1st floor; on the ground floor (separate entrance) a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, another bedroom with bathroom. Comfortable furnishings, crib on request. On the large natural plot there are various seating areas with barbecue, sunny and shady places to relax, read, sunbathe; a trail leads to the swimming spot in the nearby torrent about 150m away. Hiking lovers can go on pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Francis directly from the house. In Città di Castello you will find numerous restaurants, a colorful weekly market, stores of all kinds; especially in summer there are various cultural events such as exhibitions and concerts. The same goes for the medieval towns of Sansepolcro (25 km) and Arezzo (45 km) in nearby Tuscany. Another destination is the Umbrian capital Perugia (60 km).

We loved our stay here. The property is located in a quiet rural location, yet within easy reach (by car) to some great places. We visited, Perugia, Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Val d'Orcia, San Marino. We also enjoyed walks from the property. We loved sitting out on the terrace, for our meals, and cosy evenings in by the wood pellet burner (it was end of October). We were well looked after by property owner Massimo and Giovanni. We liked it so much we hope to return soon!
