About this villa rental
L'Eyre et le Gûa is an estate in the Entre-Deux-Mers, composed of a bourgeois house and "l'Ombrière", its large restored stone outbuilding of good quality linking the period features with a contemporary touch offering a comfort appreciated by the guests.
This elegant property and its garden of 2500 m² located 3 minutes walk from the shops of the village of Ambarès-Et-Lagrave and close to the historic center of Bordeaux and the prestigious vineyards of Bordeaux will charm you.
The accommodation
The OMBRIERE, is a stone outbuilding of 115 m² composed on the first floor of the living rooms, a shower room and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, you will have 2 large bedrooms with a King size bed for the terrace view room and a queen size bed for the garden view room.
On request, the beds can be converted into 2 single beds if necessary to accommodate children.
For CHILDREN up to 12 years old, the following equipment is available upon prior request:
- An 85 X 190 cm bed that can accommodate 1 child and installed in an isolated part of the living room on the first floor.
- Baby equipment (2 cots and 1 high chair) is also provided on request.
A private terrace equipped with furniture, a barbecue and a gas plancha, an awning and a stone fountain complete this property.
All rooms and the annex are fully cleaned with the utmost care before the arrival of the guests and all bed linen and towels are provided.
Important: this place is not intended for the organization of parties. We favor the rest of our visitors.

You benefit from secure parking inside the property.
You can access the sunny garden directly for a moment of rest, to have a refreshment or to play with the children.
Other remarks
To make your stay pleasant and facilitate your installation, we offer you a welcome basket composed of cold drinks, tea, coffee, sugar, spices, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, shower gel, toilet paper, cleaning products...
Public transportation is accessible in front of the property to reach the centre of Bordeaux by bus or tram and the La Gorp train station will allow you to reach Arcachon or Paris.

Carinne & Patrick were lovely. Very welcoming. The property was a lovely old building. Extremely well equipped, so much stuff! Both bedrooms had 2 individual mattresses on each bed & were very comfortable. Loads of hot water. Outside area was perfect, included cooking area, tables & chairs. Plenty of room to park the car. Good location for visiting lots of different places. Tram & train station are between 15-20 minutes walk away from property. Good size supermarket nearby, including bars & shops. The road is very close but not too busy during the day & quiet at night. The only things to highlight are : the toilet is downstairs & the sink is in a separate bathroom. The stairs are very steep & can be slippy. Be careful with children. We had a wonderful holidayThankyou

TagWonderful house with a beautiful garden. The host Carine and Francis are very friendly and took care of us. The house has a very well equipped kitchen and a small but good bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Everything functioned well and small problems we could solve easily with the hosts. Although the house is located at main street it is rather quiet.
The location is great to explore both the city of Bordeaux as well as the wine region. We will definitely come back here next time in Bordeaux!
