The house and property are more lovely than advertised and well appointed in every way to make our stay extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds comfortable, appliances in excellent condition....everything we needed for our stay away from home. The natural water pool was beautiful and surrounded by a very nicely furnished patio for us to enjoy the views of the countryside and nearby town. Sebastiao's warm welcome and attention to detail will never be forgotten. He greeted us with a tasty basket filled with fruits, bread, wine and other goodies that allowed us not to worry with having to rush to the store. After sharing important details about the house, he provided a personal tour of the surrounding community to familiarize us with the supermarkets, gas station, favorite pastry shop, restaurants, and more. Sebastiao was always readily available for questions, recommendations for things to see and do during our stay and even assistance with making reservations if needed. We can't say how much we enjoyed our stay on this beautiful well kept 8 hectare property with fruit and olive trees, herb and flower gardens, and lagoon. Equally, we enjoyed the short drive to Porto and Gaia with its rich history, bustling streets, relaxed nature of the river promenade and, of course the port caves. Once again our visit in this amazing place confirmed that wonderful people and places exist everywhere. We just need to explore and enjoy! We'll be back!

My husband and I spent a week in one of the rental homes at Tapada De Sao Domingos. The property is huge and the rentals are separate and private, each with a pool, AC, and modern and comfortable interiors. We were close to the city of Porto, as well as right above the river, with spectacular views. Sebastiao was a very helpful host and made many suggestions for dining, cruising, and sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay.
