About this house rental
This independent vacation home not far from Massa Marittima (6 km) was formerly used as a country school, which has been completely renovated. Surrounded by a large fenced park with olive trees, fruit trees and oaks, it offers a lot of privacy. In one corner of the park there is a small vegetable garden where you can pick seasonal fruits (tomatoes, zucchini). In the large veranda, equipped with garden furniture and barbecue, you can spend relaxing moments enjoying excellent dishes and a good wine of Maremma. Take advantage of the convenient location to reach the sandy beaches of Follonica (15 km) or Castiglione della Pescaia. About 35 km away is Punta Ala, where you can practice many sports: Golf, sailing and boat trips (boat rental). From Piombino (45 km) you can organize day trips to the beautiful island of Elba. Fly screens on all windows.

We have been in many holiday homes in Italy, over 35 years and this one may be our favourite. We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The owners met us on arrival, they are a lovely couple. The house is spotless and the decor is just right for a Tuscan country home too. Equally, the outside area is fantastic,and the Oak outside would fit right into Lord of the rings.Secluded and beautiful, but near to so many places. Heaven

We had been the second time at this great house. So we like it very much: quiet area, no direct neighbours, well equipped kitchen, big rooms. What you need to know: no A/C - in Summer it´s really hot. You have to party outside minimum until 1.00 am ;-)The two seperate beds in one Bedroom are not really comfortable but ok.
