About this house rental
About 6 km above Castiglion Fiorentino, this stylishly restored natural stone house awaits you with its breathtaking location at 700 m above sea level: from here you can enjoy the view over the entire Chiana Valley and the unique tranquillity. The former convent extends over three levels with various exits to the outside. Natural stone floors and walls are part of the character of the house, as are the open fireplaces, various staircases, arches, niches and the magnificent views. Each room is individually and tastefully furnished. The bedroom on the 2nd floor with sofa bed and single bed is a walk-through room. The house is surrounded by various terraces and seating areas under shady old trees. Directly below the living area is the pool on a panoramic terrace with gazebo and frigo bar. Also at your disposal: barbecue, table tennis and volleyball court. Ideal for switching off and relaxing! There are also numerous worthwhile excursion destinations from here: Castiglion Fiorentino 6 km, Cortona and Arezzo approx. 16 km, Montepulciano 35 km, Pienza 40 km, Lake Trasimeno 30 km. Unpaved and very steep access road, unsuitable for sports cars and low-lying cars.

We really enjoyed Leonardo´s House! It is worth to visit and relax for holiday. It is wonderfully located in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the Tuscan valley. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was beautiful! Leonardo is a very nice person and host and was always available for questions or others issues. We would like to come again :-)

Family of 8 we had a fantastic week long stay in this house. Leonardo the host is brilliant and so helpful. The house is beautiful and clean and the pool area is fantastic. However what really makes this house is the location and the view which really has to be seen to be believed (the photos on here really don’t to it justice). A couple of things to note, there are a lot of steps in this property so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Secondly make sure you pay attention to the advice about having a suitable car to access the property, the access road is unpaved and challenging. If you want peace and quiet this really is the place to be. Thanks Leonardo for a wonderful holiday.
