This historic gem has been lovingly restored with custom craftsman wood trim, restored white oak floors, and whimsical Rifle Paper Co. wallpaper—creating a timeless charm that’s both relaxed and refined. Enjoy bright white tiled bathroom, brass fixtures, and a repurposed sewing table vanity that adds a vintage touch.
The Space:
You'll find the upper cottage up the stone steps and around the corner. Enter the cottage to an open kitchen with dining table, and living room centered around a decorative fireplace. Enjoy all the modern comforts of a kitchen including a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, keurig, pour-over coffee set up, blender, toaster, and other comforts. Relax in the living room surrounded by windows and mountain views. The queen bedroom is elegantly styled to perfection with designer wallpaper, a smart TV, and closet. The space is inviting and beautiful and full of details that will make you smile. The bathroom has a tiled floor-to-ceiling walk-in shower, plus a beautiful vanity made from a repurposed vintage sewing table.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire upper level of the cottage. Enjoy private parking adjacent to the cottage.
The Neighborhood:
Our cottage is nestled in quiet Cascade, Colorado at the foot of Pikes Peak, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. Explore the quaint and historic mountain neighborhood, and access local hiking trails just outside your door. Enjoy local dining at The Wines of Colorado, just a 5 min drive away. The entrance to the Pikes Peak Highway is just 2 miles from the cottage, making it easy to explore the stunning surroundings.
Cascade offers a charming local scene with parks, a rock shop, a pickle shop, and restaurants. Nearby, Green Mountain Falls offers more hiking, a memorable breakfast spot (The Pantry), a great dive bar (The Blue Moose), and more within just a few minutes by car.
Getting Around:
You'll want to bring your own transportation for getting around the Ute Pass area. The cabin is conveniently located just off HWY 24, providing easy access to Manitou Springs 10 minutes east, featuring shops, attractions, and more dining options. The drive to Colorado Springs is only 15 minutes, where you can visit Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and the new Olympic Museum. Woodland Park, 10 minutes to the west, offers grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, and tap rooms as well.
Other Things to Note:
+ The cottage is at 8,000 ft elevation; please prepare for possible snow from mid-October to May.
+ Start hydrating well a few days before you travel, it helps with the altitude adjustment.
+ Cell reception may be limited; WiFi is available with a very strong connection but can experience very occasional outages.
+ The cottage entrance is up a set of stairs from the parking area. Please be prepared to navigate exterior stairs during your stay.
+ There is no outdoor seating at the cottage.
+ Please respect the peace of the residential neighborhood by observing quiet hours starting at 10pm.
+ The property is shared with local wildlife; please do not leave trash or food outside.
+ Absolutely no pets are allowed.
+ We reserve the right to collect ID from guests before allowing access to the property.
+ Check in is at 5pm and check out time is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check in and/or late check out requests. We offer these based upon our housekeeping team's approval as their schedule can be demanding and for an additional fee of $20 per hour if granted. Please note, the earliest check in time available is 2pm and the latest checkout time we can accommodate is noon.
+ Sorry, but weddings, commercial photo/video shoots, and similar events are not allowed at the cottage.

We love helping guests make the most of their time in our beautiful area and live very close by. However, we give our guests space unless they ask for help or want to say ‘hi’ in person. Our team will be available throughout your stay and is always happy to provide advice on local restaurants, attractions, and adventures.

This cottage is a great place to stay. It's cozy, quiet, and in a terrific location. The hosts make sure you have everything you need, and the check-in/-out process is super easy. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Pictures don’t do it justice. Had dinner one night at Cantina Verde in Green Mountain Falls and it was amazing.

This stone cottage exceeded our expectations. We felt at home in the elegant surroundings. Everything was clean, new, comfortable, cozy, convenient, quiet, very private. My husband and I enjoyed this cottage immensely. We would stay here again and for a longer period of time. Be sure to request the upper level.
