About this house rental
This 2,700 square foot waterfront home is filled with so many amenities you’ll feel like you’re staying in your own private resort. It sleeps eight, with one king bed, two queen beds, a full murphy bed, and three bathrooms. It also comes with a two-car garage.
Step out onto the spacious lanai and prepare to be mesmerized by a turquoise canal lined with palm trees. The view is even more enjoyable while you’re floating in the heated pool or reclining on the sun loungers. Enjoy waterside dining at its finest with a gas grill and an outdoor dining area with a big screen television to keep everyone entertained.
The lanai is so peaceful the only sounds you’ll hear are wind rustling the palms and water lapping against the dock, where you can tie up your boat or bring down beach chairs and watch for a passing dolphin or manatee. Of course no tropical dream vacation is complete without a hot tub where each night you can sip a tropical beverage and watch the setting sun turn the sky a brilliant orange with its Western rear exposure.

Our group of 7 had a great time using the pool, hot tub, and fishing off the dock. My son caught a sting ray and my husband caught a catfish. The pool was wonderfully warm and we loved eating outside!

The house and pool were perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed cooking in as well as going out to the restaurants that were nearby. The walk to the beach was very doable and it’s a straight shot to public access. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Overall this home checked the boxes for our week long stay. The house is a bit older but very well kept and cleaned. There were ants in bathrooms and kitchen areas but I blame more of the island climate than the home. The home was stocked well with towels and basic essentials which was helpful.The pool area was our favorite but the jacuzzi doesn’t get very hot and the mgmt company wasn’t willing to turn it up. The neighborhood is older and not as upscale as other areas on the island but location was convenient. However, I don’t think you can go wrong with any location given the size of the island. I would say that VRBO homes on Marco seem to be a dime a dozen in choice and comparable amenities.I’d have given a better rating if the management company was a bit more hospitable. They were very by the book in their responses (canned answers) and never went above and beyond. For example they weren’t very helpful with recommendations on food and activities (told me to grab some pamphlets when I stop by their office…so I just googled recommendations on my own). Upon our stay, most of their messages were house rule reminders which came daily. I’m pretty sure I was reminded about the trash 3-4 times. Guessing they had a bad experience previously. What tipped the scale was halfway into our stay, they sent a text asking if we’d be interested in real estate property. No thanks. Overall though a good place.
