HOW DO I GET MY FREE LEI GREETING FOR TWO?
If you are staying 7 nights or longer, you will receive a free lei greeting for two people upon arrival at LIH airport. Once you complete your reservation, you will need to provide your flight details and we will take care of the rest. The Lei greeting will take place at the baggage claim area.
DOES IT HAVE A VIEW OF THE OCEAN?
YES! It has elevated views of the lawn, beach and ocean. The walk to the beach is just about 1 minute from the lanai.
DOES THE CONDO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
YES! There is a powerful AC unit in the living room. The unit also has a ceiling fan in each room, an extra portable fan as well as vented windows to maximize the flow of the ocean breeze.
DOES THE CONDO INCLUDE USE OF A POOL & FITNESS CENTER?
Yes. All Kiahuna Plantation guests have free access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street. For access you will check in at Poipu Beach Athletic Club. You will find a large swimming pool, water slide, hot tub, full gym, full locker rooms, 2 half basketball courts, 3 pickleball courts and 4 tennis courts. They provide all sporting equipment such as basketballs, tennis racquets and balls, pickleball equipment, table tennis, etc. Lastly, there is an onsite restaurant and bar with full service and a great menu.
WHAT FLOOR IS THE CONDO ON?
Our condo is on the second/top floor of Bldg. 26. Just a few steps from where you will park which is convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries!
CAN YOU HEAR ROAD NOISE FROM THE CONDO?
No. This unit is far away from Poipu Road where the road noise comes from. You may, however, hear the ocean waves coming from the beach.
IS BEACH GEAR INCLUDED?
Yes! The condo includes bodyboards, beach chairs, beach mats, and a cooler. There is rental hut on the beach that provides free beach towels, free beach chairs and additional paid beach gear rentals.
GOOD TO KNOW:
- Coffee machine is a 12 cup regular drip. Ground hawaiian coffee for one pot is provided.
- Washer and Dryer takes credit card only

Great stay in Poipu! This condo is in an excellent location with many amenities. Good communication with our host, Erick and easy check in. Kiahuna Plantation is beautiful, nicely maintained and very quiet. So close to an amazing beach! Walkable to the athletic club, shopping, and several dining options. This condo could use a little maintenance. Bathroom needs some attention, as the floor around the tub looks to have had some water damage over time. Sofa and chairs are uncomfortable, and the current furniture set up makes it hard to enjoy the small TV from all areas of the living room space. A new curtain rod would help to improve the function of the blackout curtains. The kitchen is well stocked, appliances worked well, and a bonus having a full sized refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker. The bedroom roomy enough for the two of us. We were able to use the good sized dresser, side tables and a portion of the closet for our clothes. The mattress is comfortable. We would definitely return to this rental again.

We had such a great experience staying at this property! Check in was a breeze and all the amenities. Even though we didn’t utilize, it was a nice treat to have some streaming services available. Host and front desk were very attentive and checked in with us upon arrival and before we left to assure our needs met. Ocean and sunset was lovely from our balcony was magnificent. Another added bonus was the ability to view luau nearby. Thanks for having us and would highly recommend.

Pros:
1. Beautiful and tranquil peekaboo ocean view through the beautiful big trees.
2. Comfortable king bed.
3. Very close walk to the beach.
4. Wonderful lanai to sit and relax.
5. The A/C unit was very nice and worked well.
6. Nice view of banana plants out the kitchen and eating area.
7. Nice Kauai art and other pictures all around inside. A nice touch.
8. Beautiful property with lush tropical foliage and huge beautiful Mimosa trees all around.
Cons:
1. Bathroom needs updating and door needs repaired where it’s coming apart by the doorknob. The sharp wood peeling off the door pokes you if you miss the doorknob in the dark.
2. Old toilet doesn’t flush well and the water sticks on often and we had to take the top off often to fix it. That old toilet should be replaced with one that flushes well with new technology. For half the cost of one night stay this toilet could be replaced. We expected better than this.
3. Toilet plunger needs to be replaced. It’s so old and hard it took all my man weight to be able to barely make it work.
4. The sofa hide a bed in living room is not comfortable to sit on. It’s old and chairs near the couch are not comfortable either and are soiled looking.
5. The rug under the coffee table is dirty and should be cleaned or replaced.
6. The curtains to the lanai are very difficult to move and you have to be standing up on a chair to be able to move them either way. Very Frustrating. Maybe a metal rod would help them slide? Definitely
