Sea and island views from a quiet hillside near Rethymno, with a shared pool just steps from your private entrance. Iperion is one of four apartments in a semi-detached villa among the olive groves of Agia Triada, about 12 km from the centre of Rethymno and a short drive from the beaches. It sleeps up to 4 in 2 bedrooms (a double bed; two single beds) plus a living-room sofa bed, with 1 bathroom, a garden and a BBQ. Free parking at the villa; a car is needed.

The pool and outdoor space - the swimming pool, with sunloungers and an outdoor shower, is just steps from the apartment and is shared with the other three apartments of the villa. The apartment has its own private entrance, and outside there is a garden, a balcony and an outdoor dining area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill.
Easy for families - everything is on a single level with no stairs inside, there is free parking at the villa, and the area has many trails for walking, hiking and cycling.
The space - 45 m² for up to 4 guests:
- Bedroom 1: one double bed
- Bedroom 2: two single beds
- Living room: one sofa bed
- 1 bathroom with a shower
Practical points - the open-plan living room has a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle and coffee maker. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a TV, a sound system, a washing machine, an iron and a hair dryer are provided, along with bed linen and towels.
Guests have the whole apartment to themselves, with its own private entrance. Outside, you can use the garden and the outdoor dining area with outdoor furniture, a BBQ grill and barbecue utensils. The swimming pool and the outdoor shower are shared with the guests of the other apartments in Villa Iperion. For laundry there is a washing machine, an iron and a drying rack for clothes.
We welcome you in person at the apartment and hand over the keys, so please let us know your arrival time in advance. During your stay we are close at hand and happy to help with whatever you need. You can contact us as often as necessary through the messaging of the platform you booked on.
Villa Iperion sits very close to the traditional village of Agia Triada, in a rural and quiet position among rolling hills and olive groves, looking out over Rethymno`s north coast. Walkers, hikers and cyclists like the area for its trails and gorges, and Agreco Farm, with its olive press, watermill, general store and wine cellar, is nearby. Tavernas, cafes, a mini market and a bakery are in the nearby villages of Adele and Pigi, a short drive away.
Distances that matter:
- Centre of historic Rethymno: about 12 km on a good road
- Beaches: a short drive, about 4 km
- Heraklion and Chania airports: about 1 hour by car
A car is necessary here: the villa is in the countryside, and shops, beaches and Rethymno are all reached by road. There is free parking at the villa.

- Heraklion airport: approx. 70 km
- Chania airport: approx. 80 km
- Heraklion port: approx. 70 km
- Chania port (Souda): approx. 65 km
Both airports are about 1 hour away by car.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. For families with small children, we are happy to share babysitter recommendations. The nearest supermarket is about 4.7 km away and the nearest doctor and pharmacy about 6.7 km, so it is worth stocking up on the way to the villa.

After a small adventure to find the location (we arrived very late in the night) everything was found as described. Wonderfull view to the coast, located at the edge of olive trees, very calm and relaxing, with more equipment in the flat as you would normally expect, very clean with all services. Best experience was breakfast on the terasse with wonderfull view at nice temperatures (27-29 degrees). We are sure to come back next year. Crete surroundings: wow!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is a quiet and nice place. The view from the porch is awesome. It is a little bit hard to find, but with GPS it works quite well. we definetly recommend this place when you want to get away from the touristic places in Crete.

My husband, two children and I stayed at Villa Iperion for three weeks in July-August. Although we had clear instructions on how to get to the villa, we got a little lost upon exiting the highway but recovered our path quickly and arrived at what would be our vacation premises for the next three weeks. Upon arrival we found our fridge stocked up with the basics and that was a blessing as we could just ease into our stay at the villa before rushing to the supermarket. The Cretan Raki, a true reflection of Cretan hospitality, was divine. The breathtaking view of blue sea, the scents from the local plants in the garden, and the solitude were just what we needed to kick off our family vacation. Although the villa is on the small side it functionally contains all the required amenities to make ones stay enjoyable and comfortable. Fortunately we only had one family staying at the adjacent villa which meant the shared pool was pretty much to ourselves. Our children and their cousins, who live nearby, enjoyed it thoroughly. After a few days it literally felt like coming home from our daily adventures. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the entire company is very professional and made sure all our needs were met. Thank you Stavro, and Stelio and our wonderful cleaning lady Ida, and the always on the go maintenance man Kosta! You have all helped create a very memorable vacation for us. Please keep and eye on the two stray dogs in the area. They were inseparable and it was a pleasure to take care of them.

I had a really great time at my stay at this villa for 11 days in August. The mountainous location can be challenging to get to (make sure you prepare your route in advance), but it's a suitable price to pay for some brilliant rural scenery with olive trees, rolling hills, and the sea. The nearby town of Rethymno is perfectly placed for day trips to tourist attractions in both North Western and North Eastern parts of Crete. The apartment in the villa is well styled, very clean, and brightly lit. Cleaning lady came around to service our apartment twice during our 11 day stay, and all cleaning equipment was also provided for self service in between. Facilities at the apartment were well modern and well maintained, incuding free fast WiFI, satellite TV, coffee maker, etc. The iron was missing initially, but provided very promptly on request. An internet outage overnight was quickly resolved early in the next day. Although the pillows were very soft and good, two of the three matresses had noticeable springs and felt uncomfortable - I'd recommend that these are replaced with firmer mattresses. Patio area has a seating table, barbeque grill provided, and a swimming pool right outside. The pool seemed a bit on the small side, but it was clean and regularly serviced. There's no shallow end, so make sure you bring your armbands for younger children.
