Its open plan living area overlooking the treetops is both comfortable and attractive. The wide decking on the upper and middle levels is perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, or reading a book and relaxing. There is plenty to do for everyone in this community and in the area. Along with the quiet natural beauty, Sanderling delights with its nature trails for bird watching and fresh-air adventure. Large community pool with kiddy pool is the great place to take family and friends. Those who like to stay active on vacation will enjoy community tennis courts and Pine Island Racquet Club fitness facility, which are accessible for a reasonable fee. The Town of Duck with its wide selection of shopping and dining, year-round events and family activities, and Public Park featuring playground and soundside boardwalk is just a short drive from the property.

We enjoyed our visit to this property although there were a couple of cleaning issues, such as a stain on the wall by the stairs that appeared to be blood. The decorative jars needed to be washed as they were dusty.
Also, any future renters should know to take ALL supplies, including dishwasher soap as well as dishwasher detergent, bathroom tissue, paper towels, etc.

House is like something out of an 80s time warp, but it’s a lot of fun for a family. The decks are rickety and we thought someone might plummet to their death, but all okay. AC was pretty wonky. Very hot downstairs and cool upstairs. House definitely has not been renovated, but it’s close to the beach so who really cares. Biggest issue is that you have to buy everything: there were no garbage bags, extra paper towels, dish soap, dishwashing liquid, or a sponge. No coffee filters or salt either. Come prepared!

The house is in a nice neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. Washer and dryer is nice. It would be nice to have more outside seating and table. The house however needs a serious deep clean. Spiders everywhere! Shower curtains need replaced they are moldy.
