Enjoy the sweeping views of Lone Peak and Lake Levinsky which are both perfectly framed in the floor to ceiling windows in this stunning penthouse. This expansive retreat welcomes you with high vaulted ceilings as you walk into luxury and make yourself at home. Enjoy a morning cup of Joe or an after adventure cocktail on your private balcony, which becomes your front row seat to the magic of Big Sky. The chef in your group will love the gourmet kitchen, full equipped with all the latest appliances and tons of counter space. Bring the whole group together at the large dining room table, or pull up a seat at the breakfast bar. Also, at the end of a fun day full of adventure, enjoy the common area hot tub or take a dip in the shared outdoor pool (pool closed until spring 2025.)
Ready to rest easy? Head to one of the four bedroom suites, all boasting tons of space and large attached ensuite bathrooms. All of the comforts of home await at this perfectly appointed penthouse, and is the ideal home base for all of your mountain adventures. Hit the slopes at Big Sky Resort (a complimentary shuttle ride away!), conquer mountain bike trails, paddle across Lake Levinsky, or hike the scenic Beehive Trail. Winter transforms the landscape into a wonderland – snowshoe through frosted forests, glide across pristine cross-country tracks, or embark on an exhilarating dog sledding adventure. And just a breathtaking one-hour drive away, Yellowstone National Park, a treasure trove of geysers, hot springs, and wildlife, awaits.
SKI ACCESS
Mountain Lake 501c is located directly adjacent to the resort and does not have ski-in/ski-out access. This is a short 2 minute drive to free skier parking at the resort. Once in free skier parking there is a shuttle that will bring you directly to the Big Sky Base area. There is also a shuttle pickup out front that takes you to the base area and other places in Big Sky that picks up every hour at 52 minutes on the hour.

The unit was great and had an excellent view of the mountains. There could be some improvements to signage. For example, the posted instructions for the door don’t tell you how to wake up the keypad so you can type in the code. It would also be super helpful to explain how the Skyline Connect on-demand shuttles work. (You need to request rides in the app, you need to say your location is ‘Mountain Lake Condominium’ the actual street address doesn’t work for some reason, that the service is extremely busy from 4-6pm, and that the on-demand shuttles won’t take you into town but only operate within the Resort area or the Big Sky town area. There is a fixed route service (Route 3 or 4) between the bus stop at the resort and the Big Sky town down in the canyon, but you don’t use the app for that bus!

Overall the condo itself was amazing and so spacious. The view was breathtaking and they had everything we needed. Any small request we had, the team was so wonderful and responsive. My only negatives were the fitness center if you can call it that. For people who don’t ski, this center was a let down. A few very dilapidated cardio machines, a sad tiny home gym apparatus and no free weights at all. The 2 mats were more like foam covered in fabric. The game room was very tired and just had an old pool table. We were really disappointed in the hot tub pool area. You would need to drive down the hill from the condo to use it. The area was dark and uninviting. Other places have that type of area as a focal point with mellow lights and music so people can enjoy a nice relaxing apres ski time with both a pool and hot tub that heats up. We never saw even one person using that space the entire time we were there in peak ski season. But if you don’t care about those items, the condo is fabulous!

The location of the townhome was wonderful and the views spectacular! It was perfect for our family and the kitchen was well equipped and even had a grill on balcony. The only concerns for us was the location of hot tub and general parking. The garage was tight with a big SUV and difficult to maneuver. The driveway was extremely icy too. I was injured and would have loved to walk to hot tub, however the conditions prohibited me from walking downhill.

Elevator didn’t work on arrival and had to haul gear five flights! No ski storage. Beds were HARD. GREAT family room and kitchen with view. Hot tub situation was sub par. Located on the street one property down. Easy drive to mountain.
