About this house rental

This fully renovated single-story detached home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a private, fenced-in garden. On the outskirts of downtown Villeréal—a 13th-century bastide town on the edge of the Périgord region and designated one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”—it will be the ideal starting point for your sightseeing trips or hikes.
There are many activities to enjoy: hiking, mountain biking, cycling (marked trails), canoeing down the rivers of the Dordogne, swimming, and beaches (developed lakes and rivers), visits to the prehistoric sites of the Périgord (Lascaux, Les Eyzies, etc.), visits to the region’s many castles (Biron, Beynac, Bonaguil, etc.), visits to the nearby Lot region and its notable sites (Rocamadour, the Padirac Chasm, Saint-Cyr-la-Popie, etc.).

You can also enjoy the many traditional festivities of the Southwest: bodegas, ferias, nighttime horse races, as well as its widely acclaimed cuisine.

The “Le Penten” vacation rental features a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and kitchen essentials), a living/dining room with a sofa bed and TV, 2 bedrooms with built-in closets (1 x 140 and 2 x 90), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, and a washing machine with an ironing board and iron.

The owners of this very well equipped gite were welcoming and helpful.Close enough to town for an easy walk to the market yet peaceful. The surrounding garden was looking pretty and well cared for during our stay. Would certainly consider booking this again.
