"Annie Oakley" is located at Mile Post 3.75 on a quiet street that's great for biking, jogging, walking and offers easy and direct beach access. Enjoy 2 furnished sun decks, the east side deck offers a porch swing and sunrise view. From the west side deck you have a great view of the beautiful outer banks sunsets!
Ground Level: Outside shower and unfinished laundry/storage room with washer and dryer (only accessible from outside).
Top Level: Spacious great room with a large flat-screen TV, Queen Sleep Sofa and deck access, galley kitchen with breakfast bar seating 2 and the dining area with seating for 7. King Bedroom with flat-screen TV and deck access, Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV, full hallway bath with stand up shower, Bedroom with a DuoBunk, Trundle and flat-screen TV, and another full hallway bath with tub/shower combo.
Extras: 4 TVs, sun deck, deck furniture, parking for 4 cars, high speed wireless internet, enclosed outside shower, 5 ceiling fans, washer/dryer and unlimited long distance calling within the US. Our family had a wonderful time staying at Annie Oakley. The house has everything you need for a week of relaxation. Only drawback was that wifi was not always working but it forced us to unplug!

We had a great week at Annie Oakley! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking when we wanted, and the appliances were newer and well kept. Perfect laundry facilities. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. Perfect price range. We would stay here again. Check-in and check-out were painless.

The house was older but in good condition. The people that clean are not that good. The kitchen counter was not cleaned under the countertop appliances. I cleaned it as soon as I noticed it so the next renters should not have that problem.
The sheets that were given for the sofa bed did not fit. The mattress is a queen and they gave us twin sheets. I called the next day and they brought more sheets but they were king. We made them work.
We planned on using the trundle on the bunk bed for the baby but when we pulled it out to put her to bed saw what looked like mouse droppings. Did not attempt to use it after that. We reported that but they never came to do anything about that.
The kitchen was well equipped but I had to wash everything before we used it.
The beach chairs with the house were great. They really came in handy.
In general the house was okay. It was a family group of various ages. The wi-fi was very spotty but we made it work.
The AC at one point was not working well but when we called about that they did send maintenance and he was able to change the dirty filter and get that working. He also said that he was going to have them put in a service call.
The TV in the room closest to the kitchen did not work. We could get it to come on but it kept turning off after about 5 minutes.
The gutter over the steps needs to be cleaned out. Since the steps are open it was dripping on us whenever it rained. Also after the rain stopped.
