This beautiful river getaway was once the Clayton Savings Bank. The original bank was built in 1914 and remodeled into this great Mississippi River home in the last 20 years. The original charm of the bank can still be seen today - large arched windows, high ceilings, original wood floors, burglar alarm and original safe door just to name a few!
In the new addition of the home you will find two ensuite bedrooms. One on the main level and one on the second level. From the second level bonus room you have one of the best views of the Mississippi in all of Clayton. Two additional trundle beds in the bonus room.

our only complaint was the property boasted wi-fi and it did not the internet was not turned on. Numerous attempts to contact property manager went unanswered. even customer service reps from vrbo got no resolution

We really enjoyed the open layout & multiple beds to have our annual girls weekend. The large kitchen was nice to not have to eat out every meal. Couldn't find the toaster though, and the filtered water spigot at the sink was leaking into the sink with little water pressure to actually fill a cup.

Beautiful building, clean and quiet. Lovely view. Nice little town, close to nice trout streams. Owner not great with communication, states there is internet but was not able to get roku to work at all so no TV at all to watch football games at night 😟 not sure if it was just the roku but my internet would not work on my phone once I hooked up to their wifi. Contacted host with no reply. Very beautiful home and very clean tho. Easy access just bring a deck of cards!

Our stay at Clayton Bank was great. Only issue was the internet didn’t work but Hosts were responsive to the issue.
