This beautiful river getaway was once the Clayton Savings Bank. The original bank was built in 1914 and remodeled into this great Mississippi River home in the last 20 years. The original charm of the bank can still be seen today - large arched windows, high ceilings, original wood floors, burglar alarm and original safe door just to name a few!
In the new addition of the home you will find two ensuite bedrooms. One on the main level and one on the second level. From the second level bonus room you have one of the best views of the Mississippi in all of Clayton. Two additional trundle beds in the bonus room.

This was a great, comfortable place to stay. Very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The only problem we had was the tv didn’t work because it wouldn’t connect to the internet. The NCAA tournament was on and we wanted to watch some games but there were two restaurants/bars within walking distance so we were able to watch there. Jack did send someone to try to get the tv on line but they were unable to do so. All in all, we loved staying there and hope to come back.

Great property, very clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Only 2 small complaints, tv/roku wouldn’t hook up to WiFi, and no toaster. Great job!

our only complaint was the property boasted wi-fi and it did not the internet was not turned on. Numerous attempts to contact property manager went unanswered. even customer service reps from vrbo got no resolution

We really enjoyed the open layout & multiple beds to have our annual girls weekend. The large kitchen was nice to not have to eat out every meal. Couldn't find the toaster though, and the filtered water spigot at the sink was leaking into the sink with little water pressure to actually fill a cup.
