About this house rental
**Not a pet-friendly property.**
Located in the heart of Cannon Beach, the McRae House oozes nostalgic beach-bungalow charm while providing contemporary convenience. This corner property, with outstanding landscaping and garden area, is tucked within one of the most desirable Presidential blocks only minutes from downtown and the beach.
The front porch invites you into the spacious living room featuring a gas fireplace, and the adjoining dining area. Enjoy leisurely meals while gazing out onto the peaceful yard and garden. Close to the entry and just off the living room, the cozy den provides a quiet space for entertainment with a flat-screen TV, including a VCR and DVD player. The den sofa opens into a hide-a-bed.
An additional doorway from the den opens into a hallway conjoining a bedroom with a Queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower, and a laundry area with stackable washer and dryer, as well as a large soaking tub.
This hallway also flows through the sunny kitchen and returns back into the dining and living areas. Enjoy breakfast in the nook area with seating for six, while keeping up with the latest news on the flat-screen TV with DVD player. From the other end of the kitchen, a quaint second bathroom with shower features a nostalgic pedestal sink and stained glass window.
The delightful and cozy upstairs features three bedrooms. One bedroom provides a Queen sized bed and a Twin daybed, and features another flat panel TV with DVD player. The second bedroom has two Twin beds, while the newly added third bedroom has a Queen bed and the new additional bathroom features an ample walk-in shower.
Off the front porch, the garage houses a gas barbecue and plenty of beach chairs. Also located in the garage is an EV universal charging outlet.
After a full day in town or on the beach, be sure to enjoy leisurely evenings on the porch or in the garden. This is an adorable family vacation home, sure to create joyous memories.
Accommodates 9 maximum; no pets; no smoking; parking for 3 vehicles.
3 night minimum stay, except during the summer months.
7 night minimum stay for the summer months.
Deck Furniture and BBQ's are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

We love this house. The location is outstanding - beach and town access is unmatchable. It's roomy - we especially enjoy the two big tables. We use one for meals and the other for puzzles and games. We can all gather in the living room without crowding and there is room in the kitchen for multiple cooks. We appreciate the beach towels, large number of games and puzzles available for guests. The kitchen is extremely well supplied for cooking for large and small groups - every pot, pan, bowl, utensil you could possibly need. The home's decor is dated and we love it that way. We can be comfortable and cozy without fussing and worrying. Beds are comfy and three bathrooms are a boon for our crew. Only complaint this year was that there was a small but persistent infestation of sugar ants and the property management company was not responsive (to our knowledge). The phone was not answered - message only, and the three times we stopped by the office, no one was there and no notes were left indicating return times. This is a change from years past when the company was available and readily responsive. Might have just been an overly busy week for them.

The house was all we could ask for. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 8 of us. And close to town which was so helpful with the busy summer traffic. We were able to walk into town and avoid the crowded lots. The upstairs bathroom was luxurious. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
