This large and contemporary property with view-protected private pool stands not far from the historic core of Avignon and is an ideal vacation home for sun worshippers and culture lovers. A charming place to relax is the enclosed and pleasantly shaded courtyard. Laze in the garden furniture or by the swimming pool. In the majestic former Papal Palace of Avignon, you get to hear the long and exciting history of the city. Stroll along the famous Rue des Teinturiers and the Place de l'Horloge. Interesting sights for the whole family are the museum in the Petit Palais, the Epicurium as well as religious buildings such as the collegiate church of Saint-Jean, the Chapelle des Pénitents Noirs (Chapel of the Black Penitent Monks) or the Temple Saint-Martial. And theater fans should attend its festival of theater and performing arts in July. The walk to the rocky promontory Rocher des Doms is a very nice experience, or experience the island of Barthelasse. Upon your return, you can relax in the large living room or by the pool.
