About this villa rental
Ancient barn situated right outside Siena city center (only 3,5 km away). This property has been recently restored and turned into a modern and bright accommodation ideal for a couple or a family of 4 people. Outside guests can enjoy use of a large, well-groomed garden and of a nice furnished pergola ideal for al-fresco dining.
The house interiors are welcoming and tastefully furnished with modern-design pieces. The property in fenced-in.
A bus stop (with busses to Siena city center) is approx. 150 meters away.
The house's central location is convenient for visiting Tuscany's most important places of interest such as Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and the entire Chianti area with its characteristic villages (Castellina, Greve, Radda, Gaiole, etc.).
A secondary road connecting Siena to the Chianti region passes a short distance away.
Distances: Siena with all kinds of shops and railway station 3,5 km away, the Chianti region (with its characteristic villages of Castellina, Gaiole, Radda, Greve ecc…) is within 30 km, San Gimignano 40 km away, Rapolano Terme (spas) 40 km, Montalcino 45 km away, Volterra 54 km, Pienza (Val d’Orcia) 70 km away, Florence 70 km away.
At guests’ disposal: private furnished outdoor area with sun-umbrellas, sun-beds, table and chairs, barbecue.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und entspricht der Beschreibung voll und ganz. Was uns negativ auffiel war der deutliche Hörbare Strassenlärm der nahen Strasse und zwar im Haus sowie draussen. Es herrscht auf dieser Strasse überraschend viel Durchgangsverkehr. Da wir in einer Jahreszeit vorort waren wo man nicht draussen ist, war es für uns nicht sehr störend. Im Sommer würde ich das aber nicht wollen.

Haus ist modern und gepflegt und ausreichend für zwei Personen. Es liegt nur an einer lauten Strasse und es fehlt eine Waschmaschine.
