About this apartment rental

Stay in one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago - Old Town! Recently

renovated spacious top floor condo with all modern amenities, in a classic

19th century Chicago home in one of the best parts of the city with access to

dining, bars, entertainment and more. Ideal for traveling families and

friends, and plenty of Chicago culture nearby, from nearly every era. A

neighborhood bar with Frank Sinatra's favorite ribs! Michelin-starred

restaurants! Only 20 minutes to the Loop on the train and a very short walk

(10 min) to the lake front and North Ave beach!

This is the top floor of a 2 story building.



Please keep in mind this is a QUIET residential neighborhood. We respect all

of our neighbors quiet enjoyment of their home, so please be respectful when

entering and exiting the home.



Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need

additional time, please consider booking an extra day.



Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Any group

looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are

expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.



Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full

duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people

in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique

circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else

but do not intend to stay yourself.



Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some

street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs

before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To

guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find

and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.

**House Rules:**



Please respect our home and neighbors. Violations of ANY of the following

rules may result in fines and/or termination of your reservation without a

refund.



1. No parties or unapproved guests - Only registered guests may access the property. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.

2. No additional visitors - Only those listed on the reservation may enter the property. Any additional visitors must be declared and pre-approved.

3. Respect quiet hours - Keep noise levels down, especially between 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Failure to respect quiet hours or disturbances from an unauthorized gathering will result in termination of the reservation without refund and may result in additional fines to pay city tickets or HOA fines for violations.

4. Check-out on time -- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 10am. Please vacate the unit on time and return any issued keys by the agreed check-out time. Unauthorized and unapproved early check-in or late check-out is subject to a $250 fee.

5. No smoking - Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the building premises. Evidence of smoking, including odor, will result in a $500 remediation charge. Local laws also prohibit smoking within 15 feet of any entrance.

6. Lockouts & lost keys - A $150 lockout fee applies per occurrence. Lost keys or remotes will incur a $50 replacement fee each.

7. Lost & found - We are not responsible for lost items. If something is left behind, we will attempt to locate it and ship it at your expense. Please check all drawers and closets before departure.

* Guest verification - To comply with legal and security requirements, you may need to sign a rental agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact details, and submit a selfie matching your ID.

* Guest screening - Guests must have a positive track record on the booking platform and provide details about their stay and the guests traveling with them.

* AutoHost verification - We conduct additional screening after booking and reserve the right to decline reservations that do not pass verification.

* If you are bringing a pet, only 1 dog is permitted. Pets are limited to 1 unless it's a service pet and cats are not allowed. Please send an inquiry if you have further questions.

This unit is lovely, we loved the great beds, various cushion of pillows! We loved that they launder thier linnens & towels professionally! Both bathrooms were modern and so clean! The kitchen finishes are on trend and had the perfect amount of kitchenware and even had a full bag of coffee and all the fixings and more. The home is on a picturesque street and the homes are close, but that’s the style for this neighborhood and they could be on a postcard! Our only issue was the check-in process that somehow was a missing link for us between Expedia and VRBO and it took a while to figure out that the rental company that they use called red awning was in charge, but there seemed to be not really a main contact at our disposal. We know this for next time to make sure and figure it out before we get to the location outside and it is 4 degreWe had concerns about parking, but host actually left vouchers for us for permit parking and we’re able to park right across from the front door as we got there an hour before check-in. We are so coming back! The set up is a queen size bedroom & a master bedrm with a king size bed that has its own en suite shower. The closet in the queen bedroom had a twin size mattress w/ extra sheets for it, stored so you could actually pull that out &put it in the LR or there’s even a loft upstairs w/ a chair, little table, you could put the twin bed up there so 4 guests each get a bed. Low headroom on way up so careful but it is great.

The folks at the property management company were wonderful and it's a great neighborhood. The listing is misleading as it appears to show the 3rd bedroom upstairs but that is a loft space with an extremely low ceiling and was not air conditioned / not a usable space when we were there. There was another mattress in the second bedroom but nowhere to put it. Our daughter had to sleep on one of the couches and we had to scramble for bedding for her. The place was clean but it needs some maintenance. It wasn't obvious from the pictures but it didn't seem like a professionally renovated place - very DIY - not well painted / cabinets hung improperly etc. Looks great in the pics - not as good close up. We still enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't stay there again.
