Discovery 4 Unit #113's interior design definitely gives a comfortable cabin feel! It is the perfect escape to the mountains unit for you and your family with its breathtaking view and cozy feel!
Maximum Occupancy: sleeps up to 6 people.
Bed Arrangement: Get a good night's rest in the master bedroom's queen size bed. The bunk beds built into the entryway can accommodate two guests. For additional sleeping space, the living room sofa is a fold out full size bed!
Unit Amenities: Your own full size and fully equipped kitchen and separate dining are ready for your enjoyment. Step out for some fresh air on the private deck which is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood you can use in the wood burning stove. The master bedroom has a new flat screen HDTV . The full size bathroom is complete with a bathtub, shower and separate vanity area. Enjoy the living room with its new flat screen HDTV, VCR, Blu-ray / DVD , free wifi and cable, some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings).
Views: The Sherwin Mountains and Mammoth Rock can be seen from this unit! There have also been bear sightings!!
On site amenities: Take advantage of the amenities in the recreation room with coin operated laundry machines, a pool table, a ping pong table, video games, soft drinks, a reading area and free wireless internet. At the end of your day unwind in the Jacuzzi or dry sauna which are open year round. The pool is heated from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. There are gas barbecues located in the pool area that can be used anytime year round.

Had a great time at this place. Only gave 4 stars on the property's general condition because a) The primary TV doesn't really work, and b) the water heater is on a switch, but that switch is not labelled leading us to have cold water for a night.Two very small issues that I mentioned to management and I'm sure they will fix it promptly. Otherwise loved the property and had a great time!

The large sectional sofa gave enough space for everyone to relax after skiing. Kitchen was well stocked, however I'm glad I brought coffee grounds and filters for the Mr. Coffee maker. Owner had a large library of classic movies/most on VHS, however we could not get the VHS player to work and watched a DVD instead. Parking at Mammoth is chaotic; I paid $30 for preferred parking at Canyon lodge on day one, then shuttled my family on day two from the condo and walked the steep hills in my ski boots (10-12 mins) back to meet them. I'd do that again, but its a workout!

Outstanding. We had a wonderful time and the unit was excellent. The only BIG problem was the broken Jacuzzi. That part was a bummer because we really like that at Discovery 4.

This cozy condo was great for a quick ski trip. It really had everything you could need in the kitchen. The beds were clean and cozy. The wood stove was easy to use and worked great. The kitchen refrigerator definitely needs to be replaced. It it very loud. The bathroom was a bit outdated and the shower had a few issues with the sliding door.
