About this villa rental
Villa Gloria, built in the 18th century, was originally renovated from the old servant's quarters that served the main Tuscan Villa.The area of Cortona and Valdichiana situated in the territory of the Toscana region enclose on this locality all the natural, historical and gastronomical features that are typical of the zone.Villa Gloria is equipped with all comforts and particularly with a nice private pool to spend full of fun hours with friends and family, a great garden equipped with a barbecue area which enhances your summer feasts. This villa offers simple but comfortable accommodation with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and is within easy walking distance of the village's shops and restaurants.

Nearest village: Lucignano 500 mt (also reachable on foot), with groceries, restaurants and other services; Sinalunga (large shopping centre with a supermarket and cinema) - 8 km, Rapolano Terme (known for its natural thermal springs) - 19 km, Arezzo (train station) - 25 km, Montepulciano a 30 km, Pienza a 35 km, Cortona - 35 km, Siena - 45 km, Florence - 90 km, Orvieto - 90 km, Todi - 110 km, Rome - 200 km.
At guests' disposal:
The Villa's ample grounds include a private pool (mts 6x12 depth 1.2/1.5 mts), a furnished gazebo and a fully restored capanna with barbecue pit and dining area for your evenings under the Tuscan moon. Wifi internet access.
This Villa is composed by two apartments not communicating internally and accessed by 2 separate entrances (one beside the other)and they are rented as one unit. This also can give large groups a sense of privacy if needed.
Extra services:
Cooking classes can be arranged at the owners villa: you will be guided to learn the secrets for cooking Italian dishes, especially the one's of the Tuscan tradition; you will learn how to make pasta with your hands like tagliatelle, pappardelle, pici, ravioli, tortellini and maccheroni, traditional Tuscan dishes like panzanella using bread and vegetables (cucumber tomatoes, onions and fresh basil), Tuscan crostini, the secrets to cook perfectly our chianina t-bone on bbq and traditional Italian desserts like tiramisu' and "panna cotta" with strawberries and chocolate.

Lovely Villa within walking distance of beautiful Lucignano. As you walk the lane you get a great view of the hilltop town. Great place to be for Maggiolata festival...so close. Pool and surrounds were beautifully set out. We used the cute outside BBQ building. Comfortable beds, good showers, good kitchen to work in. We had many happy feasts at the outdoor tables. A great family gathering in a beautiful part of Tuscany. Thanks Lily

Lovely villa with a rustic charm and very clean and well maintained. Perfect location with walk to the friendly town Lucignano. Great pool for relaxing and several outdoor options for eating with great views.

The villa was great. A fine house with a great pool and nice garden. What me and my family didnt like was the landlord who visited us almost every day and had comments and remarks on how we lived in the villa we rented and what we where doing. She made us feel uncomfortble for at least two of the days. She had people att the villa and where selling furniture to them and it was right under our nose. It was disturbing and made us feel unpleasent.

Villa Gloria is the perfect place for a holiday, the views are outstanding, the range of outdoor eating places total heaven. The swimmingpool more than you can wish for! Lilly was very welcoming and her lovely staff around if we needed anything, which we didn't. The villa is simple and has what you need but no more than that. The beds I must admit could do with an upgrade, not comfortable, but apart from that it really was the most wonderful week and we are so glad we found such a fabulous place to holiday with our friends. Thank you
